Not a Slayer Sword winner but I'm pretty happy how he turned out. Putting him back together was a nightmare. I learned a LOT painting this mini...err...maxiature.
I'm kinda regretting putting him on Ebay, but I bought a couple, so I guess I can paint some more. My nephew 3D printed me some more (and better) skulls and a Plasma Gun, so I'm in the Zone. The Painting Zone that is. I'm currently working on a Black Templar and after that probably a Chaos Marine.
Let me know what you think. I love these guys. Already seeing 3D printed stuff out for them and I have some 1/12th scale heads on order that I hope look good on 'em!

Doh, more pics on the Ebay page. I'm not new to Dakka, but I haven't been on in quite a while and I need to remember how to make the photos smaller. Sorry about that!

1) there's a different forum for selling
2) isn't it literally impossible to have a LOTD primaris marine?

I'm more in here to show it off. Technically, it's already sold.
Yes, technically I'm pretty certain that LotD didn't get an allotment of Primaris, but I've only got 2 different models to work with in this scale. I took some artistic liberty.

LotD never had Primaris rules, but lore-wise nobody knows where they come from - it's posited that they're ghosts of a Chapter that got destroyed/lost in the warp, but there's also another theory that they're the ghosts of Marines from all over the galaxy. If it's the latter? Primaris LotD is absolutely a possibility.
...plus, y'know, rule of cool so who cares. And this is SO COOL! The raised skull shoulder pad is an especially nice touch.

I was too impatient for my nephew to print the skulls, so I bought a "Renwal the Visible Man" off Ebay. Not sure what to do with the rest of Renwal's corpse... Automatically Appended Next Post: Wonder if I should do a Rainbow Warrior?

It's been repeatedly and overtly indicated that they're Fire Hawks, from all sorts of sources over decades.

In Master of Mankind, we see them fighting alongside the Emperor, long before the Fire Hawks ever existed. It basically confirms that they are the "Emperor's Daemons" theory. Not that anyone in the Imperium would know that ten thousand years later though.
Also, model looks great
