Are the space marines on battlescribe? I can not find them. Also, the SW are not updated. I asume they will be at some point. But I se the new FW nids are already there.

Space Marines are and so are Deathwatch, so I assume SW would be too unless there's been some delay with them. Have you tried manually pushing through a data update?

Space Marines have been split into each individual supplement due to memory issues on mobile.

Force an update, and it should work. If SW aren't updated yet it might be delayed.

This.

The Space Marines work, there is never a mechanical reason to not pick an ancestor chapter. You dont lose anything for doing it (ok, a couple of chapters do lose access to a few things - eg Black Templars can't take Librarians, but most dont) and you gain access to a super doctrine and various extra strats, traits, relics, and psychic powers.

Therefore there's no reason to have a generic Space Marine list.

You can't not pick an ancestor. Even if you're an "unknown" successor you still have to pick an ancestor for the purposes of the rules. Page 124 of the codex.

I asumed SM would be an independent one due to you can pick from a list of two chapter tactics.

On the once I have looked at the points have been wrong on devestator weapons.

And when I look at SW Bjorn is missing. So something are a bit odd.

Lol, yeah "correct" is an interesting word for it.

Even if it was, its a pain in the ass to navigate through these resources.

Yes. A google docks crossreferered with my Space Marine and Space Wolf Codex. However, when I am playing it is much easier to use the 'scribe. Likevice when droodeling a list it is so much easier to use the 'scribe.

However I found out how SM functioned now, or rather where it hid. Now I just wait for a SW update. A lot of the points are wrong, and I can not find the stratagem where I relic a squad member.

You can make a custom independent chapter for your army, but they will still be a successor of one of the established chapters. You choose the catalogue in Battlescribe for their ancestor. Note that this is just for rules purposes. You can pick Ultramarines as your ancestor, but have the fluff for your chapter be that their parent is unknown.

Battlescribe is maintained by volunteers who do it as a hobby. They make mistakes, they are human and its not their job. Best thing to do when you spot a mistake is report it on git. Implementing the new codex was a huge job for them, so some teething issues are to be expected.

Yeah I know. But as I said I could not find them earlier today. Colour me supriced when they had coded the forge world rules.

I'll have to look up their git at some point; the Relic Sicarans have been listed as Elite for awhile and, if I recall correctly, they're actually Heavy Support.
