Rather proud of this big boy, I wanted to make a stompa myself ever since beginning modeling three years back and only few months ago did I get a chance to get some plasticard, so for my third build I tried to finish this bucket stompa I started years ago.

I know paintjob is not brilliant, but I don't have a airbrush and my general painting with a brush would be terrible for model this size, so I did best I could with what I had.

Saddly, my skill at weapon making is poor and my bits box is empty.

That is a cool home-built stompa! Does need more bits and orky things (I really like little scaffolds and such on these) but no knock on what you've done! Love the bucket build. Great idea.
And the paint looks fine for a beat up ork warmachine that means business. Get in there and stompz sum tings, boyz!

Keeping the hobby side alive!

I never forget the Dakka unit scale is binary: Units are either OP or Garbage.

Well, I might add more with time as my bits pile is empty and my ideas aren't great so I need to work on my skill with plasticard.

I've done some conversions on a stompa before and let me tell you, it definitely takes a different mindset. There's just so much more surface area that requires more bits and our normal painting techniques for weathering and damage are not big enough. Mine is still sitting on the shelf half finished. Mocking me with it's size. Well done taking on such an ambitious projects.

Ask yourself: have you rated a gallery image today?

I can see that when I was painting it. and this too mocked me as a bucket for a year before I got to finishing it, and doesn't help I can't do weathering so best i could do was some drybrushing here and there.

More gunz can be added in a second moment; if you continue collecting orks at some point you'll have tons of spared gunz in the bitz box, that's not a problem. Nice work indeed.

I am not planning on expanding my ork army any more, because it's big enough, and since I collect second hand models, unlikely to get much bits saddly...

Well, you could always ask other ork players if you know any and buy from them some bitz the may have spared for cheap.
