I'm not too fond of maniacal seizures in vehicles lists, it's just to unreliable and does too little. I think warpath or maybe fists would be a much better choice for this army.

7 Ork facts people always get wrong:
Ragnar did not win against Thrakka, but suffered two crushing defeats within a few days of each other.
A lasgun is powerful enough to sever an ork's appendage or head in a single, well aimed shot.
Orks meks have a better understanding of electrics and mechanics than most Tech Priests.
Orks actually do not think that purple makes them harder to see. The joke was made canon by Alex Stewart's Caphias Cain books.
Gharkull Blackfang did not even come close to killing the emperor.
Orks can be corrupted by chaos, but few of them have any interest in what chaos offers.
Orks do not have the power of believe.

Yeah I'll have to second that stance.

At least take custom shootas with the Mganobz. Assault-4 will let you deal some wounds out before getting stuck in and now, no rules really stop you from peeling wounds off another unit while moving up the table.

One has to wonder. Do the Tyranids consider drop-assault troops... fast food?

I'm against kustom shootas on meganobz. Even 16 of them are not going to achieve much, while the extra damage from killsaws is always handy and sometimes it's exactly what makes the job done.

If the Meganobz had a more impressive Stat line, I would agree to just keep them as straight melee.
The problem being is that they'll be swinging a 4+ anyway with the -1 from the Saws. A rolling 6s is still just another issue of banking on their sheer randomness to bail them out.

Though that does bring up something about them that I've been meaning to ask. Why does their Boss not have the typical Sgt stat comparison?

Because dirty xenos must not be better than marines.

Yup that’s reasonable. It was a margin pick for me. I think in a list with lots of mega trakk it could do work but you have the cast problem.

This style of list is also attempting to test if I can make 1 unit of 30 boys do work. I’m skeptical but with UGT in theory this is 60 boys on the board... that’s not nothing.

If you're looking for more standard powers with a broader use. Take Warpath, because it just seems more reasonable at this point.
You are already working to have those three Meganob squads in there. So either jumping one of them up the field, or buffing their base stats is most likely going to be the better choice

Or you could just go with Da Krunch and play more into the warp rolls, but you'll still be looking out for those 12+ rolls.

I'm thinking that a Painboy would serve you better in this instance. Either keep him with the Meganobz to heal wounds and negate them with Dok's Tools, or you can give him a bike and run him with the Dragstas.

And now I'm wondering why GW hasn't come out with a Painboy in Mega armour.
