Does the CoD get dynastic protocols? Can it be moved 6" after deployment if my dynasty can do that? Can I play strategies on them?

I searched the rules for "dynastic protocols" and I didn't see anything like that.

Are you talking about the Extermination Protocols strat?

Or something else maybe?

Please clarify.

Sigh. The two things you can give your home made dynasties. The circumstances of awakening ant the other one, expansionist, that lets you move units 6" after setup. That's one of the most popular ones.

Sigh, those are called "Dynastic Codes" not "dynastic protocols" using the proper terminology, and having a precise question, will help get your questions answered. (and elicit a quicker, useful, response).

The Relentlessly Expansionists rules say "units with this code can make a Normal Move of up to 6″."

The Convergence of Dominion is a fortification. What is the normal movement rate of a fortification?

What about the mephrit dynasty and gaining 1ap and half range? Does that apply to their weapons? What about the ability to reroll 1 failed hit roll per unit per turn?

Are they a NECRONS units in a NECRONS Detachment? If so the Convergence of Dominion gains the Dynastic Codes ability. (I can not see any FAQ that prevents fortifications from getting the Dynastic Codes ability, but I may have missed one).

What about the ability to reroll 1 failed hit roll per unit per turn?
Not sure, the ability to reroll 1 failed hit roll per unit per turn is not listed on their dataslate, and is not apart of the Solar Fury Dynastic Codes ability.

Good thing then the expansionist overrides. You can move up to 6" even if you have lower speed normally. Assuming there's no rule preventing fortifications from gaining dynasty codes then RAW they could move up to 6"

The CoD gains dynasty codes, but it cant move. See p. 202.

Move (M)
....If a model has a Move of "-" it is unable to move at all.

Guys... this is all moo, you know, like a cow's opinion.

AFAIK you can only include Fortification Units in a Fortification Network Detachment.

expansionist does not override a fortification being immobile...

It also doesn't matter because Fortifications can never benefit from the Relentlessly Expansionists code.

No one said it did matter. I was simply pointing out that fortifications can not move even if they have something like Relentlessly Expansionists code that says they can, like when tneva82 asserted that fortifications can move, which is of course not the case.
