So it appears it should hit the map poster stretch goal today, which is one i've been looking forward to.
From the comments, the map will be an up to date post oblivion version

Anyone interested, I have a whole bunch of this Iron Kingdoms stuff I'd sell you. This game died on the vine in our community over 1 season, and the lame changes.

At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money.

While it has certainly slowed compared to the first couple days, it has been fun to see this project do as well as it is

Outside of the additional monster, i can't say i care much for the rest of the currently revealed stretch goals

I am also somewhat surprised that at the time of me posting this, they still haven't put up a list or something of the miniatures that will be available during the pledge manager

The punchline- 5th edition is dead....

I have the old book, and the boxed set, I'm perfectly fine with that. Especially if PP would decide to stop being GW lite and get back to their basics...

That last mutton head move they pulled killed our local scene. With all of the arms race antics, they took a perfectly good war game and turned it into a joke in the space of a year.

The KS is weaksauce, topped with peeing on your leg and telling you it's raining.

For better or worse, 5E's never been more popular though?

Yep, pretty much everybody and their grandma plays 5e, you'd be hardpressed to find anything even half as popular when it comes to rpg's. It's basically the juggernaut in the room, and I don't see that popularity dying down anytime soon. PP was smart to go back to that system.

Yeah, I have to think "5e is dead" was an attempt at irony or humor. DnD has never been stronger or more popular, all the normies are playing 5e now, even a lot of the cool kids in high school who used to pick on me for being a nerd are now playing weekly or bi-weekly games of 5e as 20-something to 30-somethings. Indy RPGs, Pathfinder, and more "obscure" RPG systems like Shadowrun or whatever are the games that "nerds" play, DnD has otherwise gone mainstream.
