Oklahoma

Drop all of your extra plasma pistols including the ones on the sanguinary guard. Use the points to give more sang guard powerfists. Then I would drop one or both of the Baal preds to get another squad or two of sang guard with powerfists or swords.

I would also drop one of the captains and put your whole list in one battalion detachment so you get more CP

Any reason why you didn't take the artificer armor for your Captain over the mantle?

+2 sv & a 5++ FNP sounds better than just the flat 5+++

You can also do better than the hammer of Baal on your Captain with Death Company. Because if he get's re-rolls anyway, then he's going to be doing statistically just as well with a master-crafter hammer. Or you can try Gleaming Pinions to re-activate his charge bonuses. That is unless they changed the wording to where he could no longer fall back.


One has to wonder. Do the Tyranids consider drop-assault troops... fast food?

The Black Rage means you can't fall back, so there's not much value in Gleaming Pinions for a fallen Captain.

I'd consider dropping the Scouts, 5 sniper rifles don't do much unless you're facing someone like Guard.

I was worried about that. RAW once had it where units like captains and other HQ choices could choose to do as such.

One has to wonder. Do the Tyranids consider drop-assault troops... fast food?
