If you have a dynasty that has a trait which gives obsec to all units, does that apply to a convergence of dominion that in on an objective? I kinda hope so as it makes them more useful.

Can fortification detachments gain Detachment abilities?

Units in Fortification detachments can never benefit from detachment traits, as per the BRB.
