So getting near the end of the month now and that means previews for next month are starting to appear. So here's the catch-all thread to show off what's coming up next month as well as what gets released during the month. I'll edit in the video from the last monthly thread when it gets made (creator seems to put itup around the 20th or so which fits with when most Patreons have updated their monthly releases). Until then please do share what you know is coming and, when it ticks over, what is being released.

Note far as I know I'll only post public previews from Patreon;

Thematic Bases 1.0 by Txarli Factory
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/txarlifactory/thematic-bases-10-by-txarli-factory/description
Ends in 9 days (first days of April)

Includes 20 full sets of model bases, each set a different theme (alien, city, sci-fi, desert, etc...). Bases come presupported and with holes for magnets in the design. There's also a second tier with movement trays, which also come with magnet holes.

Dragonbond: Battles of Valerna - Nahuac & Ysval armies by Lair/Draco Studios
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/lair3d/battles-of-valerna-3d-wave2
Ends in 8 days

Dragons leading their own armies across a fantasy battle world. This is their second 2 army release of stls and one of several dragon related releases they've done. There's a demo model on the KS up for free of one of the lizard like warriors.
They've also got addons for the previous armies, rules and their Dragons of the Red Moon dragon collection.
The dragons are fantastic, though their pre-supports can be a bit questionable; though they are often fast to respond to feedback.

Spoiler:

Airship Campaigns by Arcane Minis
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/skies-of-sordane/airship-campaigns?ref=profile_saved_projects_live
Ends in 8 days

Huge monsters, insects and skyships! This is a campaign focused on expanding their earlier STL campaign for their airships, this time focusing on encounters and monsters that you'll meet. There's addons for rules, materials and most of the content from their previous KS including a selection of the huge airships and their heroic crews.
They've unlocked a lot of stretch goals adding more monsters, bases, artwork, maps and more.

Some of the monsters are collaberations with other Patreons including My Mini Mayhem and Dragon Trappers Lodge who both produce excellent models!

Like you say that the video comes out on the 20th and most people put there’s up around then.
So most “April” sampling’s are actually available mid April to mid May then right?
So some from the last thread are only just up, and available for awhile if unsure about grabbing them etc?

It varies a lot from Patreon to Patreon. Tanis is up on the 3rd of April from Ritual Casting, but some others might not be finished till late in the month. The March models will typically all end on the last day of March (don't leave it till then do it before because of timezones and such). So there can be a "dead" time with some Patreons where there's nothing new for a few weeks into April. It really varies, some are simply ahead of others; some are one designer alone and any small delay has a knock on effect; some have teams that meet deadlines well; some (eg Epic Miniatures) put up a load of throwbacks as well which, as they are already made, will appear pretty fast. Though of course if you've been backing them for a long while you might already have some or all of the throwbacks.
Also note that sometimes patreons get behind so you might find some things get released into the next month - these are often handled with private messages through Patreon (since if you stop being signed up you'd stop being able to read the subscriber only messages with links and such. )

They are all very individual. Though at least some previews let you plan which Patreons you might keep or drop before the end of the month. There's one or two that I'm thinking on dropping since I was mostly in the one month just for a few specific models of theirs and the next month doesn't interest me. Of course some Patreons give rewards for continuing your subscription (eg 3, 6 month rewards). So its best to read the details and be aware of what's what with the ones you back.

Heck there's some that have annual packages that give you a discount over monthly payments. Though of course then you're locked in for a year.

Remember you can always cancel a patreon one month and sign up again next month and, far as I know, it affects nothing at all. So you can, if you want cancel everything at the end of the month and sign up again next month (though its a faff so only do it if you need to)

Anvil is great. Well, no surprise since they already had successful aftermarket GW and original resin lines before going to STLs.

Heresy Lab - Girl 3.0 Dark Faction Girls

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/resinlab/heresylab-heresy-girl-30-dark-faction-girls?ref=recommendation-projectpage-footer-4

Basically Sisters of Battle but with some big changes to some of the models. Huge amount on offer. Big bonus is that not only are they offering digital print files, but also physical resin models for sale as well. So if you're not into 3D printing as yet you can still get hold of the models.

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/3dfortress/cyber-library-of-3d-models?ref=recommendation-projectpage-footer-2

88 sci-fi themed models from walkers to terrain to aircraft. There's a huge mish mash of designs and themes here. They have 3 tiers with each tier being the same reward at a higher price, there's still some T2 on offer.

These guys are russian scammers with half a dozen different KS accounts to run concurrent campaigns and deliver unprintable dreck, if at all.

Is there a redit or youtube or post that compiles and shows proof? I just glanced back at their previous campaigns and there were a few grumbles but it seems files went out for the other two campaign on that account. I'll pull the link if there's proof that they are doing scams or are untrustworthy.

Here's another of their clone accounts running a concurrent campaign, which is against KS rules https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1166861615/dragon-lair

A big part of the scam was selling €400 "Rights to all our future projects" pledges and then switching accounts.

I had a look at their Wild West files and... ho boy. It's very clear none of the drones on their sculpting farm have ever been near a printer. I can understand the disbelief because the renders are nice, but trust me, don't pledge.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Aight I grabbed a screen of a random file from their Wild West campaign.

There's also a full version. This is what they consider cut for FDM printing. With that table that's going to be completely fused into supports that you need for that veranda roof and all, and the random horse standing there with 4 1mm square attachment points to the build plate and then the 1/2" walls that are blank on the inside and don't even connect to the door, let alone windows and leave you wondering why it's not just a solid chunk then.

Actually it gets worse - several of their dragons in that dragon KS are Lord of the Print designs - one or two very carefully edited a little to try and hide it - the rest outright rips. LotP have filed a takedown.

IIn better news the Betta Dragon (sometimes called Koi dragon) by My Mini Mayhem has been added on the last day to the Skies of Sordane KS! It's not on the main page but in one of their most recent updates.

Avatars of War just dropped some epic Undead heroes and skeletons. 10 up now with 20 more to come later in the month. These might be my favourite skellies I've come across since the original Warhammer Underworlds warband. All for £3, it's a steal.

Oof thanks.

Given the strange variety of styles in the current mech/spaceship KS... including showing renders from several different softwares... I wouldn't be surprised if they're assets ripped from several sources, maybe other artists, maybe obscure video games or something. But I have no proof.

RN Estudio have a new KS up which basically seems,to be a compilation of some of their previous fantasy releases rather than anything new. Still, 40 presupported minis for,£25ish isn't a bad deal if you like their style, it'd cost you that to get just half a dozen of these on MMF so if there's more than 5 or 6 you'd print, it's worth backing, I reckon.
