Thanks for your comments. We are pretty old school in our aesthetic, the armour rippin.... being inspired by fifteenth century armour and to my mind all psychic characters should be atrophied, bulbous headed and constantly possessed of a grim countenance.

Oh, and we are now live!

n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.

It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion. By the juice of the brew my thoughts aquire speed, my mind becomes strained, the strain becomes a warning. It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion.

I also love the Psi Korps operative. Backed for that character set and some troopers.
Looking forward to these, and good luck getting lots of funding!

Currently most played: Silent Death, Mars Code Aurora, Battletech, Warcrow and Infinity.

That is uncanny! I did dial the 'judge Dredd square jaw and perma-scowl' up to 11 on the Commissar. I'm pretty sure cracking a smile is heresy in the Commissariat.

What's behind the Commander? It looks like he's got a second model on his base...

To paraphrase Bon Jovi: "Ooh-Woo We're half way there".

Half way to our funding goal on our first day.

Thanks to all our supporters thus far. Tell all your chums to come and haemorrhage some money on our toys!

He does indeed, that's his 'helmet homunculus'. I've never been able to square the tradition of character models not wearing a helmet and the thought of going into combat without a lid. The helmet homunculus seeks to solve this dichotomy by providing a creepy floating gargoyle-baby to carry the commanders helmet.

Whilst it is included with the commander, it is an entirely separate model. They're not grafted together.
If you take a look at the kickstarter video there are some shots that hopefully show it better, despite my dodgy photography.

We're hit our funding goal on the first day! So, a huge thanks to all of our backers.

If anyone else fancies jumping onboard there's still a month to go. The more the merrier!

In case you didn't know this is Commissar Fuklaw a special character associated with the fanon chapter Angry Marines. An apocryphal chapter better known than most canon ones and one of the most enduring pieces of non-canon lore in the whole of Warhammer.

When not cartoonised he is given Clint Eastwoods face. There are several comic strips featuring this character, almost all of them NSFW.

Pointing out this model to Angry Marine collectors may produce favourable results. You sure you didn't know of him?

Yeah it's an anti spam measure for new posters.

Seems to be working too, can't remember that last time someone offered to remodel my kitchen or put a curse on my enemies.

First I'd heard of him. I'm fairly new to 40k TBH. I played back in the antediluvian days of 2nd edition, then dropped off, but always enjoyed the lore, so kept loosely up to date with the state of the Imperium. It was only the sudden increase of free time that Covid inflicted on me that made me hop back in for 9th ed.

Seems I've a lot of catching up to do on the meme front.
The Ad-Mechs enthusiasm for toasters is still fairly new to me.

That was always there, since Rogue Trader, and saw a fair amount of attention in 1st edition Epic.
However the Legio Cybernetica was always very small, and robots are getting rarer by the century.
