Okay so I been browsing ebay looking for deals on troops for my new ork army. I been pretty good at finding deals on ork boys, gretchins, and a painboy so far. My question is will I have a use for nobs in my army? I am asking because I was watching a nobz kit bnib and the guy ended up sending me an offer for $2 off his asking price. I decided to reply to send him a message. I lowballed him not expecting him to accept it and was like hey just so you know you are asking more than amazon shipped. Basically i just wanted to give him a heads up cause like i said i been scouring pricing everywhere. Well he accepted the offer. So i got a box of nobz on the way. So do you guys think nobz will be a used troop in 9th edition or do i have wall troops? I been kinda waiting to buy most of my troops till the codex gets released sticking with troops i know i will use like boys grots and painboy. I been hearing mixed things on nobz but Im no expert so Im asking opinions from you guys.

You can always use nobz and their bitz. Specifically, in Boyz mobz, the nob which is included in the kit is....indistinguishable from the boyz except for his weapons, The legz/torso are basically the exact same size and the head/arms are only slightly bigger. what I did was used Nob kitz to equip my mobz with a better looking/equipped Nob.

If you don't want to do that you can always just use them as a nob squad or swap their torsos in for Bikers to make Nob bikers etc. Its orkz, the possibilities are endless.

Also, Nobz are "Elites" not troops. Their is speculation that they might become troops, but who knows, especially in light of the recent new model releases

Yes, if they are good post codex your set, if not, you have parts for kitbashing painboyz, meks, weirdboyz, etc.
