Subject: "Bonus Attacks Weapons" e.g. chainswords/choppas/etc and how they do or do not interact with new FAQ

"Some rules can generate additional attacks during the attack
sequence itself, e.g. ‘after resolving all this model’s attacks, it
can make a number of additional attacks against that enemy
unit equal to the number of attacks that did not reach the inflict
damage step of the attack sequence during that fight.’ In these
cases, these additional attacks can never benefit from rules that
let you roll more than one hit roll for each attack being made –
they can only ever generate one additional hit roll for each attack
being made – but all other rules that are triggered by attacks, or
that apply to attacks (such as re-rolls or modifiers conferred by
other rules) apply to each additional hit roll. In addition, these
additional attacks cannot themselves trigger any rules that would
generate any further additional attacks."
^this is the new FAQ that eliminated the notorious 'blender succubus' from the game with Competitive Edge and the "make 2 hit rolls for each attack' razorflails weapon.
However, recently the Orks got essentially the same warlord trait, now called "Brutal But Kunnin" and have several weapons, typically mount weapons and Choppas, which are all universally worded as "Each time the bearer fights, it makes X additional attacks with this weapon."
My question is this: Can those additional attacks generated by choppas, chainswords, mounts, etc, no longer generate further additional attacks due to the new FAQ?
Say for example I had a space marine character with a Chainsword and a warlord trait of "for each unmodified hit roll of 6, the bearer makes 1 additional attack." if I roll a 6 to hit with the bonus attack granted by my chainsword, do I now no longer generate an additional attack from my warlord trait due to the above FAQ interaction? Or, because the FAQ interaction is specifically in a section talking about 'attacks that make multiple hit rolls' does the FAQ not apply to this rules interaction?

"Got you, Yugi! Your Rubric Marines can't fall back because I have declared the tertiary kaptaris ka'tah stance two, after the secondary dacatarai ka'tah last turn!"
"So you think, Kaiba! I declared my Thousand Sons the cult of Duplicity, which means all my psykers have access to the Sorcerous Facade power! Furthermore I will spend 8 Cabal Points to invoke Cabbalistic Focus, causing the rubrics to appear behind your custodes! The Vengeance for the Wronged and Sorcerous Fullisade stratagems along with the Malefic Maelstrom infernal pact evoked earlier in the command phase allows me to double their firepower, letting me wound on 2s and 3s!"
"you think it is you who has gotten me, yugi, but it is I who have gotten you! I declare the ever-vigilant stratagem to attack your rubrics with my custodes' ranged weapons, which with the new codex are now DAMAGE 2!!"
"...which leads you straight into my trap, Kaiba, you see I now declare the stratagem Implacable Automata, reducing all damage from your attacks by 1 and triggering my All is Dust special rule!" |

It has no bearing compared to a normal weapon.
The extra attack is not generated during the attack

All it means, is that when your using a rule that generates extra attacks after your initial volley of attacks, the new round of attacks do not benefit from any rule that would increase that second round of attacks.

Your initial attacks, including any gained via a weapon (such as a Choppa or Razorflail), can generate additional attacks or Hit rolls. However, those generated attacks cannot themselves generate additional attacks, including rules that would have you roll multiple hit rolls per attack.

Attacks with a choppa don't generate additional attacks.
Fighting with a choppa generates an additional attack. But you're not fighting again.
So no, they wouldn't apply more bonuses.

Yeah, it's not generating extra attacks during the attack sequence itself, the choppa generates the additional attack before the attack sequence begins.

The rule only talks about the attack sequence. It's hit-wound, etc. But determining the number of attacks happens before the attack sequence. So, it seems your it's can generate additional bbk attacks with those choppas and squigosaurs. In case of squigosaurs the extra attacks must be made with a different weapon, tho.
Now the question is will this extra hits from bbk generate 2 hits on a 6?

Yes. You are forbidden from generating additional Hit rolls, no additional Hits.
