Retributers and Battle Sisters are solid choices for expanding the army. You need the base before worrying about the flashy additions.

BSS box offers the most flexibility both on its own and in terms of how to combine with what you already have.

Saving up for a second Patrol box would be a good idea. As others said you will need more sisters, and both the arco flaglants and repentia work better when run in bigger units, then what the patrol box gives you. The second mistress, which you don't need, can be used as a base for any of the other SoB characters.
Two rhinos are also a staple of sister lists.

To be a man in such times is to be one amongst untold billions. It is to live in the cruelest and most bloody regime imaginable. These are the tales of those times. Forget the power of technology and science, for so much has been forgotten, never to be relearned. Forget the promise of progress and understanding, for in the grim dark future there is only war. There is no peace amongst the stars, only an eternity of carnage and slaughter, and the laughter of thirsting gods.

Honestly, I dont really know.

At 500, I usually play a rhino full of repentia+support and an exorcist in a vanguard detachment.

At 1000, I'd bring in Immo-Dominions w/ Meltaguns and some BSS to fill it out as a battalion.

Guardsmen, hear me! Cadia may lie in ruin, but her proud people do not! For each brother and sister who gave their lives to Him as martyrs, we will reap a vengeance fiftyfold! Cadia may be no more, but will never be forgotten; our foes shall tremble in fear at the name, for their doom shall come from the barrels of Cadian guns, fired by Cadian hands! Forward, for vengeance and retribution, in His name and the names of our fallen comrades!

I agree with this. A second Patrol Box will give you a very solid base an good sized Repentia and Arco-Flagellant units, plus you can turn the extra Mistress and Canoness into a Palatine and maybe a Dogmata if you get creative. After that, I'd say a squad of Retributors would be the wisest choice.

Thanks for all the reply.

Some of you suggested to get 2 combat patrol box, i honestly thought about that before
but the combat patrol box doesnt give any special weapons options for BSS, seraphims, or the canoness
i am especially bummed since the seraphims doesnt get any inferno pistols or flamers
and the BSS gives you the older sculpt with dupes
also the penitent engine cant be assembled as mortifier

that is why i dont think im gonna take a 2nd combat patrol box

A Battle Sisters Box and Retributor Box will give you 25 Sisters to divide between Battle Sisters Squads, Dominion Squads, and Retributor Squads. You will be stuck with one flamer in the mix, but it's not horrible by any stretch of the imagination.

After that, you can start looking at toys.

And it is not that hard to turn the flamer in to a heavy flamer. Specially in the future if you get a box of retributors in the future.

I think the SoB box, alongside the GK one are the best patrol box existing.

But if money ain't a problem, then buying single boxs is an option too. I just don't know if in other countries you can buy the SoB rhino outside of the patrol box.

If you have to kill, then kill in the best manner. If you slaughter, then slaughter in the best manner. Let one of you sharpen his knife so his animal feels no pain.

Also helps with squad sizes. 4 repentia not so useful. 8 you can get one separately fairly cheaply. Walkers comes in boxes of 2 so if you only have 1 you won't get full squad etc.

I find get in pairs or don't get at all.

Lack of options bit annoying but if you get box of seraphim you can insert weapons from those(plenty to spare) especially if you go for melee version. Lack of mortificator options fine but in the end once it's built it's built and the model is same and in new book penitent engines got majorly buffed and even the saw isn't bad option anymore so not having mortifiers isn't such a big deal.

Maybe not get one right now but in future. But if not patrol box then basic sister box or two, retributor box and repentia(4 repentia on their own are useless) and arco flagelants(ditto).

I think this is on top of the start collecting he already has. 10+10+5.
