Been Around the Block

Hello!
I used to play 20 years ago but one of my buddies called me up and asked if I wanted to try the new 40K rules. I borrowed some space marines and a couple of months later I now have a 1000pt Ork army
I don’t have a bloody clue what I’m doing, if my army is set up right and I just got my butt kicked by his ultramarines so I’m here for Orky wisdom, advice and general help.

Hi,

Welcome to Dakka

Welcome back to the fold.

You're in luck, the Orks have recently received a new 9th edition codex. I have no idea how competitive it is but at least your army is up to date for now.

If you want advice on your army composition and tactics in general you've come to the right place. The 40K Tactics sub forum and 40K Army Lists sub forum are a good place to start.

Excellent, I’ll give that a go. I have the new codex so I have more questions than when I started
