Let's see how a 25 year old game stands up to the test of time.

The objective of the game is to win. The point of the game is to have fun. The two should never be confused.

It doesn't but you can make some sweet sweet 3d printed tables nowadays. Visual spectacle is the best way to go with it.

I think the rules stand up well enough. It isn't a game with a lot of depth, but for a fun experience it is perfectly serviceable. Plus for a gate way game into the wider hobby it works well.

Will check out the avail 3d pieces, or see if I can make my own out of bits.

It's Space Hulk. It wasn't an in-depth, cutting edge, game when it was new. But it's still as much fun as it ever was....

I'va always loved Space Hulk and think the rules stand the test of time just fine. It's one of those "easy to learn, hard to master" type of deals... And if you're not playing the Marines with a timer, you're playing it wrong!

Zone Mortalis terrain would make some sweet looking Space Hulk gameboards, if they wouldn't take so much space..

"The larger point though, is that as players, we have more control over what the game looks and feels like than most of us are willing to use in order to solve our own problems"
