Idea is to abuse the bodyguard rule and the VH conviction to spam sacresancts and take over the centre of the board. Ephrael is in there because she is cool.

Rest of the list is an absurd amount of melta fire which should allow you to roll up one side of the board, or straight up annihilate elite armies.

This may well struggle with hordes and it may be sensible to swap some of the sacresancts for halberds to help deal with that.

Yes. I know Vahl is the best, but I'm not a fan of either the model.

Just a quick technical note: you're not using the updated points from Chapter approved 2022. Sacresants got 2 points more expensive per model. Those squads are 160 each. The immolators got a 10 points reduction, cherubs are 10 points each now. If my quick math works out, your list is now 10 points too much.

I like the look of the list. No idea if those immolators will do what you want them to do or if they die super fast. I'd like this to work out well, it looks fun.

If you could find a way to squeeze in a Palatine, that would help you. Especially if you could give her Word of the Emperor to turn off enemy invul saves for a phase; that would allow the Sacresants to do serious work that turn. You might have to drop Stern though, but I think it would work out well for you.

This list is an autolose against new tau. You'll surprise some drukhari and ork players but most Tau lists will be able to kill all 5 immos in one round. Or 2 immos per turn if you keep them out of LoS and force smartmissiles.

Well, good for the T'au player then.

They've been near the bottom of the pile for a while and deserve some time in the sun, even if it is at the expense of my pretty, over-costed tanks.

I'm well aware that their alpha shooting is awesome, but I'm not going to tailor a list that I think has good taac potential just to mise the new shiny out of a win.

Given the new restrictions with our subfractions in CA, I suspect there's always going to be at least one faction, and probably more, that we auto-lose to.
