Black Templar Recruit Undergoing Surgeries

Imperium

HQ: Interrogator Chaplain - 85 points - Decisive Tactician

Troops: Tactical Squad - 90 points - 4x Boltgun, 1x Sergeant

Elites: Deathwing Terminator Squad - 205 points
---------
Sergeant with Storm Bolter and Chainsword
2x Thunder Hammer and Stormshield
1x Plasma Cannon and Chainfist
1x Storm Bolter and Chainfist
---------

Ravenwing Black Knights - 120 points
Sergeant with Power Maul
2x Knights with Corvus Hammer

This is it. Space Marines for holding objective, Chaplain buffs Terminators, Ravenwing shock assault. Alternatively I could switch the Black Knights for an Apotechary and give him Selfless Healer to respawn Terminators for 0 cp...thoughts?

Thank you!

I think your list is fine. I don't think it is too powerful nor that its a list geared to crush new people. Games at the Combat Patrol level are often a little wonky.

From a competitive standpoint, Combat Patrol missions have four objectives - your list can certainly seek to control at least two and perhaps a third. I might drop the Plasma Cannon from the Deathwing and put a Missile Launcher on the Tactical Squad. The Deathwing will be moving up and thus paying the -1 penalty on the Plasma Cannon. Without a source of rerolls hits you won't be supercharging it either on a Deathwing Terminator. The Tactical Squad could then sit on your objective and fire away.

The Black Knights are in a tough spot, though, in your list. Without rerolls you will be loath to supercharge the Plasma Talons. I might just take normal Ravenwing Bikes with two Meltaguns to give you some mobile anti-tank/anti-monster capability. You lose out on some close combat, but you have the Deathwing.

I also might swap out Decisive Tactician for Honour of the First Legion. If your plan is to move the Chaplain with the Terminators that 6" Heroic Intervention can help you out if the enemy gets a charge off on you. You can take the Canticle of Hate to get a bonus on Charge Rolls.

All you have to do is fire three rounds a minute, and stand

Thanks for the tips. Aye, sadly I don't have the Missile in Tac Squad but I can definetely put melta bikes. Doing this, Tactical squad gets no special weapon (swap them with Intercessors) but I can use the remaining points to put a multi melta on Interrogator chaplain. List becomes:

+ Configuration +

Ravenwing Attack Bikes with Multi-Meltas are the "chef's kiss" in Space Marine mobile firepower. If you have them, adding them instead of the Bike Squadron really boosts your effectiveness! Keep them separate, as you have, for greater flexibility and protection. I combine them into Squadrons in larger lists when I have things like an Apothecary to revive them and Chapter Masters to buff them.

That list as written is solid for 500 points.
