I have successfully made a army based off of the events in Dark Imperium. It’s a fun list for me.

I have a battalion detachment of sisters of battle, and 2 super heavy Auxilia detachments (a knight and a Baneblade)

My sisters lose their act of faith correct? Even though they are in the same detachment.

Correct, you don't get Acts of Faith but you do get Decree Passive, Order Convictions and Objective Secured.

Yes practically

Technically no

You lose the ability to gain miracle dice

"Note that Miracle dice can also be gained via other rules. No matter the source, you can only gain Miracle dice from such a rule if every unit from your army has the ADEPTA SORORITAS keyword (excluding models with the CULT IMPERIALIS, AGENT OF THE IMPERIUM or UNALIGNED keywords)."

You don't actually lose the acts of faith rule or the ability to perform them it is not an army wide rule it is a datasheet specific rule.

But you can't perform acts of faith without miracle dice

The debate comes with incensure cherubs

"Once per battle, at the start of any phase, you can roll two D6 and discard one of them. The value of the remaining dice is the value of this unit's Cherub dice. Until the end of the phase, this unit can perform one Act of Faith (pg 91) using that Cherub dice as if it were a Miracle dice. If a unit has a Cherub dice at the end of the phase, it is discarded."

Which are used in performing acts of faith as if they were miracle dice while not actually being miracle dice further emphasised in the leap of faith mission

So is it worth even worth taking a simulacrum and an incensor cherub in each of my four squads If I can’t really use acts of faith?

If I’m reading correct, I understand I technically could use acts once per game, even though I have a soup army, using the cherubs (rolling two the dice thing), and having to use the results of the two dice (max of a 6 and min of a 2) before the end of the turn.

Am I reading/interpreting that correct and is it worth it?
