Hello All,

Just joined. I was wondering if the member named Dr Thunder was still on this site? I'm asking in the hopes that they are and I can talk to them about their Valkyries of the Omnissiah Space Marines from sometime back. I would like to add a small unit of them to space crusade aka star quest. If anyone can help me get ahold of him or know information about these Valkyries that would be great. Yes vipoid, I did try that before when I first came across this post by him. But never got a response. Not that I could not try that again or message others from that post. But thought I would try this too. I am glad that people have already responded to this post hope this helps me get answers for this project. I can see already that there are those that don't like this idea. But please understand that I am wanting to add some female units to space crusade for our game night group. I will be adding sisters of battle and a female tau unit also. For starters I have made all three units be able to have female commanders. We mostly play heroquest and in that game my wife can play a female character, so why can't she play a female unit in space crusade or star quest

As for Alturuizine curiosity, whenever I want to use someone else's work I would like to have their promotion. By doing this they know I'm not trying to steel their work and if I have questions about their work then I can ask them directly.

I will discuss with the group the questions I would have liked to ask Dr. Thunder. But right now my wife is in the hospital sick, and I need to focus on that for a bit. I will right more about this topic as soon as I can thank you for understanding.

I believe the traditional method, especially when no profit is involved, is to simply credit the author for the idea.

e.g. if you're writing rules for these female-Marines, you could add a little note afterwards, giving credit to Dr Thunder for the idea.

My wife got home from the yesterday hospital, it's good to have her home and seeing her up and around. Thank you guys for understanding.

To try and carry on from where I was. I think I need to back up for one second. In Space Crusade (a.k.a Starquest) your unit or team is made up of five members to enter the space hulk. With your chose of weapons.
For the commander you pick from these:

For the marines you pick from these:

So I was trying to ask Dr. Thunder what members of his army would be best to make up a smaller unit of five to enter the space hulk for playing Space Crusade? And what would be the weapon choses they could use?

From what I have seen and read from his old posts, if I can make a close comparison to Captain Kalie I think she would be the equivalent to Space Crusade's Force Commander to lead the unit. She welds a sword in her right hand. But I'm not sure if it has the same characteristics as a power sword? Mounted to her left hand is a gauntlet it gives her a ranged attack and can generate a protective shield around her. wearing the gauntlet also keeps her left hand free, so she can weld the sword with both hands.

When the shield is generated how long does it last and how many times during the mission can she use it? As for the ranged attack how far can it reach? How would it translate over to a game like Space Crusade (a.k.a Starquest) and what damage does it do?

Ya the member that used to be here called Dr. Thunder on here did a great job with them. Yet another reason I wanted to add them to Space Crusade.

For female marines just use Sororitas. Specific weapons can be either looted from your bitz box or retailers who sell those weapons.
