Subject: Thickening Vallejo game air?

Hi. So the VGA paints are very thin. Great out of the airbrush and for building layers and blending.
But when it comes to dryer techniques, like say edging, it is so thin that it would take many layers to get the result I'm after. Previously I used the minitaire line that were both great for the AB (some needed a teeny bit thinning) and also thick enough for layering.
Not a bad thing all in all. But when I just need a firmer and less opaque result I'd like a thicker paint to just lightly apply once.
Pretty sure I just need to buy other paints, maybe citadel or game colour. But as I have already bought a set I'd rather just thicken these up if possible.
Any suggestions?
Automatically Appended Next Post: Have some really thick white paint here from a budget retailer. And it helped when mixed to get the thickness up. But it was too pale. Is there a neutral medium? Or *as stupid as it sounds.. Can I just let it dry on the palette a while? Automatically Appended Next Post: Also note that the paint is very well shaken. I've put ball bearings in the bottles and it is thoroughly mixed.
Issue so far is mainly with the yellows and bright greens.

Instead of new paints, consider mixing it with a medium.
I mix some of my Vallejo paints with Liquitex Matte Medium to make them thicker.

Does this affect the colour as the ratio of pigments to medium and solvent is decreasing by adding medium?

Thanks for the suggestion. I have a couple there so I'll give it a crack. Might also use a varnish as a medium will report back in.

I'm no Vallejo expert, but aren't the Game Air colours matched to the colours in the Game Colour paint range with the same name? Just buy the normal acrylic colour.

Let it dry, it will get thicker.

With any paint, the more medium you mix, the less less saturated any color becomes. There's just less pigment.
In the case of VGA, it's a thinned, high-pigment paint with a transparent medium. Visually, mixing it with a matte medium would make the color more saturated.
Try a ratio of VGA to LMM at something like 5:1.
