Incorrect. We know exactly when IPOs triggered. After you have determined the charge distance. As you're completely aware

Yes we do. A roll’s result includes modifiers. That’s how the rules work.
No one ever said the rule in OP’s query was a modifier, what a bizarre distraction attempt.
And you’re the first person ever to add 2 and 3 and get 8. Bravo. You’ve decided upon “sheer nonsense” for this thread, I see.

Citation please. Automatically Appended Next Post: JohnnyHell wrote: p5freak wrote:We dont know if IP comes before modifiers or not. IP itself is not a modifier.
Yes we do. A roll’s result includes modifiers.
Not true. There are results which happen on unmodified rolls.

There are results which happen on unmodified rolls, but we aren't talking about that. We are talking about Inexorable Persecution, which happen does not care about unmodified rolls... Inexorable Persecution Does not happen on unmodified rolls. A roll’s result includes modifiers. If you think otherwise, you have to provide a Citation, p5freak... But you can not, and your posts ignore the rules. This seems to be a theme from you as of late. If you need help, please message me, I can help you with parsing the rules.

You rolled a 6 but that ISNT your charge distance until you have determined any modifiers that might apply.
Or are you going to claim that charging across difficult ground you don't have to take of the 2" before determining your charge distance?
The rules covering this have been cited. We know IP cares about charge distance. Not unmodified charge roll
You're done.

100% this. Another set of posts from p5freak that ignore the rules. p5freak wrote:I dont need help from anyone who says that when i roll a 6 i didnt roll a 6. P.S. You didn't roll a 6 though, you rolled a 6 on the dice, but you need to add +1 which, if you do the math, = 7... So clearly you do need my help, as your posts are flat out ignoring what the rules say.

Let’s just leave p5 to stew in his own dogmatic wrongness at this point and let the thread die.

Yeah I just wanted to chime in real quick and thank everyone for taking the time to answer.
My initial misunderstanding was that IP refers to the charge roll and I didn't realize that the term "charge roll" encompasses both the results of the 2D6 being rolled and modifiers. So thanks for clearing that up.
It's a really niche rule interaction anyway, that probably wouldn't even come up in the vast majority of crusade games, but my question has been answered. Thanks guys.
