Hi

Is there a guide to world eaters?

Not really. They got the short end of the stick as they have low effort White Dwarf rules. Key things to note though:
1. There's not a lot of incentive to go into Berserker Marines to be honest. MoK Legionaires can get about the same mileage and then multi-damage melee. Chosen also hit better. However, when you get your actual codex, you're going to lose a ton of crap because GW sucks at writing rules.
2. The Violent Urgency Warlord Trait is a must-take.
3. Seriously, enjoy your shooting support while it lasts.

Kinda being vague there with your question. Do you mean a general guide with using WE with the white dwarf supplement with the current CSM codex rules? Because right now they're basically in limbo with "get you by rules" until they're officially released as a standalone chaos faction. No real point to go overboard on tactics for them until they're fully released with model and codex support.

I was mostly looking for a general guide. They intrueged me, but I could not find any good goonhammer article on them, or any other place for that matter.

Ultimately because they don't have a place. If you want melee you just need to go another route since other Legions just do it better. For example, World Eaters have some good relics for killing stuff, but they're slow. Meanwhile Red Corsairs can just use the generic stuff and then have the actual speed to reach melee. Black Legion have the exclusive Jump Pack Captain, and meanwhile DiscoLords just don't need another extra attack on the charge when they can already be overkill to begin with.

I play a lot of SW and the biggest problem with beeing melee focused is that you actually need to get into combat. A delivery system.

Once you do it is nice if yiu are good at fighting. But just Rea hing the enemy is a big step.

If the world eaters have no way to attack that might be bad. Is the only rule they have adding 1 to their attack characteristic on top of regular marine stuff? Any noteworthy stratagems?

They DO have a pregame move Strat but that's about it.

Step one: yell “Blood for the blood god”
Step two: rev chainswords/axes and other angry noises while charging across the battlefield.
Step three: Profit! (And skulls)

Kinda curious what the new book is going to look like. If I was going to fall to chaos in 40k, it would be to the song of blood and brass.

(Gotta run, chaplain is looking)
