So, Ork player who started a new army, (well one that I've been wanting since 2012 when my Cisco class played a bootleg copy of DOW: Dark Crusade). My new army is Chaos Space Marines!

I got the Lord Discordant and I'm working on him, but I also got a Combat Patrol box of Legioniares with the Helbrute and Chaos Havocs. Advancing up from "use sluggas and shootas" of Orks, I see that I'm now spoiled for weapon loadout options for my evil darth vader marines. This is a pro, and a con.

The issue is, I forgot if they can only have one special weapon per squad (which they seem to have a lot of). I would 'like' to kit them out like a Kill Team with each having a special weapon and a few bolter marines, but alas rules are rules. So, which weapons would be the best to deal with targets in general? I am kind of wanting them to be okay at shooting and put my champion to be their melee guy.

I tend to like these weapons:
.Plasma pistols.
.Flamers
.Meltas
.Power weapons.

Note: I just have these two boxsets, so please don't tell me to "go buy this", I will in the future but this is my immediate work project until the codex is back in stock. (I need it, but it's sold out.)

And yes, I get this a lot. I DID check Battlescribe, but it doesn't tell me stats and I don't want to work on a model then mess up and have my gaming group gripe over it not being the proper loadout when nobody told me while I was putting the little buggers together.

Go buy a Codex.
Then you'll know the stats & rules for your new army.

I can't buy the codex, they're out of stock. That's the issue.
