LunarSol gave me the idea for this topic when we were discussing plans for 2023 gaming-
Going off his list of focused games that he was planning on playing i figured we could move the topic here for the games and armies we all play on a somewhat regular basis-
As i run late night gaming on Saturdays for an average of a 12 hour day of gaming. the joke when people ask us what we play the answer is usually just "Yes!", i try to bring a bit of everything (and tape measures, lots of tape measures) to the store for game night including spares for new players or regulars without their own armies.
Starting off--
The stuff i bring regularly
OLDHAMMER 40K ( i rotate through these armies)
.Dark Angels

We have been playing several different games and have actually proposed sort of themed gatherings so we can keep rules straight. About half of us are in our 50s or 60s so we often joke is this the one with d20s?
Games:
One Page Rules (all/any) - Escher, Goliath, Ratmen, Quar
Bolt Action - British and Japanese
Song of Blades and Heroes - Pum Kin
Battletech Alpha Strike - IS and Clan companies
Blood Bowl Sevens - Slann, chaos, halflings, orcs
Pulp Alley - Numerous leagues of scifi, fantasy and post apocalyptic

In my area, we have a quarterly "theme" to our games, then we rotate.
Last year the ones I was part of were Castles in the Sky, and Kill Team. The year before that, I recall some 40K and Wars of the Republic.
This year, I am not sure what people are doing yet, but I have heard Battletech, Force-on-Force, Infinity, and Inq28 all get thrown around.

Too bad we don't live near each other, you actually have some games our group doesn't play. and some that our group outside of myself do play (legion, song of ice and fire etc..)
There is a large group that does the FOW/team yankee/bolt action historicals, and a dedicated group for specter operations modern warfare.

What games specifically? Mostly just curious.
Locally we also have a group that's big into a variety of historicals. The ones you listed, several more. I'm just personally not a fan of games based on real conflicts. I like my violence to be of the cartoon variety, even if its Mortal Kombat cartoonish gore.
Blood Bowl and Conquest are also games I've not bought into that are very big locally. I can't say I'm a huge fan of either, though in the case of the former it mostly comes down to not wanting to get tied down with the leagues which is how most people play. For Conquest it comes down to just not loving any of the factions and finding the model quality a little iffy for a game that large. Just too much stuff at a time when I'm feeling like I need to cut back.

I have usually 1hr a week I can dedicate to gaming, maybe time for a 3-4 hour game once or twice a month.
40k
I play Harlequins, Chaos Knights, and Wolfspear Chapter marines.
Rarely have time for 40k, but starting a 25pl crusade league which I'll be able to more actively partake in.
AOS
I have a Gloomspite Gitz army, But I've not played them since AOS 2nd edition.
Underworlds
almost all warbands.
This is the game which I have spent the most time playing. Being able to play 3 games in just over an hour is really nice, and creates like little painting projects and easy to play at home on the kitchen table.

Underworlds is really solid. I just have an aversion to upkeeping decks in games. I've gone digital for a good number of games just to reduce the card clutter.

Missed this on the first read. That the real trick, isn't it? Truthfully, I don't get nearly as many of my games on the table as I'd like, let alone armies. 1-2 game nights a week, getting in 1-2 games depending on how things go. Definitely something I want to push now that my daughter is getting a lot more independent. In terms of real play I'd say:
Malifaux, Marvel Crisis Protocol, and Warmachine are the regular favorites. I can reliably get a game of any of these any given week and they see the most play by far.
Bushido, Infinity, Legion and Monsterpocalypse are games that have a good local player base but are often third-fourth priority and get passed over for other games. They get sporadic play but not reliably every month. They could also randomly jump into the top spot at any time if people really focused on them.
Age of Sigmar and 40k are obviously big name games that have a large playerbase. They're not my favorite by any means, but if nothing else is going on I can always get a game in of them, and they're great for meeting new people and growing the community.
Guild Ball and X-Wing are top tier classics that have fallen by the wayside. Still have them ready as someone will bring them out, but they are essentially retired. Battletech is obviously similar but has been bubbling up again with the push from CGL.
Judgement and Rivenstone are two Kickstarters a lot of people are waiting to have delivered. No idea if they'll sink or swim but I'm far more excited for the former than the latter.
The rest, Arena Rex, Batman Miniature Game, DCUniverse, Godtear, Relic Knights, A Song of Ice and Fire, The Other Side, Twisted, Warcaster: Neo Mechanika and Warhammer: Underworlds are games that have mostly died off or just failed to take off. People have stuff for them, but I'm not particularly driven to break them out. Neo Mechanika is actually very good, but has such murky support I have trouble pushing it, especially with Mk4 eating a lot of similar market space.

The current dominant game is definitely BattleTech, as you may have noticed from my weekly batreps. with a smattering of other things popping up.
This weekend coming up we have several games scheduled-
.castles in the sky
.B5 wars-Star Wars X wing fighter scale using X wing minis
.monster apocalypse
There of course is going to be battletech and we have a large contingent of players still playing warmchine MK III, our hybrid 5th ed 40K as well as all the other "specialist games" for 40K
For 28mm my favorite game is still DUST 1947. it is such a great rule set. so, i play it whenever i get a chance, with CMON re-releasing the game next summer i am hoping the availability will help draw in more players.

As an aside, my favorite way to play X-Wing is the Epic format. A 6x3 with corner deployments and each side fielding at least one huge ship really gives the game a dynamic that captures Star Wars dogfights really well. As a bonus, it's about the only game I prefer to play multiplayer as a 2v2 deal. Since everyone sets maneuvers simultaneously, more people actually speeds things up rather than bog the game down. Also easy to give new people command of the big ship. They're a lot easier to manage.

With the B5 wars system much like BattleTech (aside from being D20 instead of 2d6 based) is movement first. each fighter type has its own base combat (gunnery) skill, initiative bonus and available thrust limit. shooting is simultaneous.
It gives each player full control to maneuver and especially interesting since it uses representative newtonian physics for space combat.
It tends to be a very fast game for X-wing scale fighter combat since it was originally designed for flight level combat where wings of fighters are engaging. not players taking a few different fighters or small ships each. Basic ties for example pop when you look at them funny but are very cheap points cost wise. so, you could effectively get 3 for a single fully equipped X-wing for example.
We will see who plays what when they choose their fighters and loadout
on the imperial side we have
.tie fighter
.tie interceptor
.tie advance
.tie defender
.tie v-38 assault fighter
.imperial assault boat
.Gozanti cruiser
On the rebel side
.millenium falcon
.the ghost
.ARC 170
.X-wing
.Y-wing (2 versions)
.A-wing
.B-wing
The outliers
.slave 1 (firespray)
.skipray blast boat.

My game time is mostly the Second and Fourth Monday evenings of the month where I host our club game nights which are a bit less than 4 hours long.
https://www.chicagoskirmishwargames.com/blog/
We've got room for a couple more players...
Right now the 2nd Monday is usually our Kings of War campaign which will wrap up in March. I run Varangur and we've got another one of those, Kingdom of Men, Ogre and Abyssal Dwarf armies involved.
4th Monday is open gaming and often is skirmish of one variety or another.
-Ye Dogs and Ye Dust (homebrew fantasy skirmish)
-Various small scale sci-fi games (Epic, PZ8, Mech Attack, Alpha Strike)
-Space Weirdos and there are a few other Sci-Fi Pulp skirmish rulesets I'd like to try (Space Station Zero, Galactic Heroes, etc)
-Sometimes a board game.
Other Games we've played in the past and will probably revisit.
-Dragon Rampant
-Konflikt 47
-Old School Necromunda
-Gaslands
My other gaming time is with my Son and we typically play Grimdark Future. Our armies are:
Blood Angels
Tau
Imperial Guard
I can occasionally also get my daughter involved for a game of Song of Blades and Heroes and the whole family plays Heroquest together from time to time.

That was the beginning of the end of much of my gaming. Combined with multiple jobs and the process of family formation, my current level of gaming is but a shadow of its former glory. Further complicating matters is the lingering pandemic mentality amongst older folks, many of whom have now become shut-ins. That nuked my board-gaming group.
That being said, I do play 40k from time to time, and when the stars are right, I'll get in a game of Conqueror or some of the lighter boardgames such as Kingmaker, Civilization or one of the Milton Bradley Gamemaster series games.
It's interesting to see the lists of games folks are playing, many of which I used to own.

I've not played many different rules/games recently. I have quite a few others mentioned that I really like such as Bushido, but it's hard to get others to play. Others like Burrows and Badgers we always talk about playing, but don't.
My main game is L'Art de la Guerre for ancients.
We've been trying to find a more casual big battle game so have been trying out some other ancients games:
Mortem et Gloriam
Warhammer Ancients
Fantastic Battles
Swordpoint
Hail Caesar
Age of Hannibal
Black Powder is still the most popular game here for it's period. It's used for Seven Years War, Napoleon, American Civil War, and Colonials.
WW2 has move on to Battlegroup for 28mm platoon sized games. Flames of War 3rd edition is the 15mm WW2 game of choice.
Moving away from historicals, Oathmark is the only one we've played a lot. We do want to play the fantasy Fantastic Battles at some some point.
ADLG and Oathmark are the only two I play regularly. The others I do mainly when the others need another player, or no one wants to play ancients.
