Booth #915 if you want to come by and see us. It will be fairly low key; starter set and first expansion miniatures and tons of playtest/demos in Adventure Hall.
Andy & Gav on hand for both.
Yes to hard plastic, modularity, etc.
Don't pin your hopes on kaiju, but more details to come.
I was able to go by the booth and loved what I saw, then headed out to the floor and watched a demo game.
It played fast, had mechanics I could pick up on as a bystander, and I loved the card terrain/boards.
Got to chat up Gav after the game and then Andy a bit later... this thing has serious potential and is a sleeper hit!
Gav told me about how Andy got him on board Zeo Genesis during Covid lockdown and we discussed how difficult things have been over the past few years as well as how wonderful it is to be able to travel again and talk face to face without masks. Gav also told me about the scalability of the game... you can quickly start off with the initial set for a good 1v1 skirmish, then add sets/more forces to expand your table into bigger armies or 1v2 / 2v2 very easily.
Andy told me this is the first game he's worked on that has him "truly excited" since his work on Dropfleet Commander - and as a big Dropfleet fan I think that's a good thing!! He said it was so refreshing to work on "stompy robots that could actually happen" or something along those lines... as a Dropfleet fan my head was back there for a moment.
Anyway, this is an insta-buy for me when it comes out and I recommend y'all look closely at it.
That sounds great, i sure hope they step up their marketing game after the after-show jetlag is gone, at the moment it's still impossible to find any pictures or information about the game even if you know it exists, hope that changes soon!
I have to say I'm super excited for this one. Saw a bit about it at the demo booth and really liked the minis, and talked a bit about it with the crew. My buddy who I was traveling with realized that there was a demo for it, so we went back on Saturday to see if we could get one in.
Gav was nice enough to run us through a demo. The game seems awesome. It plays very fluidly, doesn't have a ton of book keeping, the rules are really easy to pick up, and it feels insanely cinematic. Even playing with just a few minis each (We each had two of the smaller Zeos and a few support minis each) it felt like a complete game experience, so I can definitely understand what they mean when they say its scalable.
We also were able to flip through the concept art book and it was very impressive. I definitely will be picking up the starter set day one.
Also huge cheers to Gav for showing us the game and being such a fun guy to chat with.
Thanks for all who chimed in. My interest is still piqued, but I'm not sure the models are doing it for me. Would love to see a video of a demo game, or any sort of information about the rule set.

Hi everyone,
I'm working with the Best Hobby team helping with Zeo Genesis and found this post here.
The game has a planned Gamefound campaign for 2025 which is now on prelaunch phase on Gamefound.
Here are some info from the page.
Scalable Skirmish
Zeo units go head-to-head through various scenarios. Zeo units are one or two Zeoforms (based on size) typically accompanied by three-to-five Supports. Games include one-to-four Zeo units per side. One or two Zeo unit games are played on a 3’x3’ table and take roughly 30 and 45 minutes respectively.
Kinetic Action In Zeo Genesis players alternate activating their models to keep play moving quickly. Each activated model gets multiple actions such as a Move/Move/Shoot (in any order), rewarding decisive play. The ability to react during opposing activations means that players are constantly engaged with the action.
Big Armor Suits
Our Zeoforms - known as Zeos - are mobile, well-armed and armored suits at the forefront of any conflict in the Hundred Suns. Backed up by engineers, hackers, drones and other support fighters, Zeo pilots are the warrior elite of the far future.
I think it was said you can take 4 types of activation, each being a fixed combination of 3 actions ("Run and Gun" is Move+Move+Shoot, "Fight" is any three combinations of Moves and Melee attacks...) but taken in any order. Some potential for big leapfrogging actions with multiple takedowns if opponent positions badly, reminds me of Deadzone.

The old meta is dead and the new meta struggles to be born. Now is the time of munchkins.
Interesting. I missed this the first time it was posted likely due to the awe inspiring name (both of the game and thread title). I've got some videos to watch in that case and maybe a game to use some of my old Rafm HG minis with finally.

Add to this the command point mechanic that allows activated units additional actions and/or reactions, and each turn becomes a bit of a poker game on where these extra resources will be applied.
Read the core rules this weekend and I'm actually interested. Seems quite fast and streamlined in a good way.
I'll read through the advanced rules this week and see how much unnecessary crunch(In my mind most crunch is unnecessary) they add and will look closer at the army lists.
I'm not particularly interested in the minis. They're fine enough, but not terribly appealing to me and I've got plenty of 28mm Mechs and sci-fi troops already. What I'm looking for is an interesting ruleset to put them into on a smaller scope than "Mech Attack!".
Anyone know if they will be at Adepticon this year?

Well...

Well...
I'm confused, is Mac Attack another game? A rename?
Looks like so far there's 2 factions, each with 3 different hard plastic teams. Which is certainly a choice compared to opening with more factions, I guess?
Hard plastic made in house in the US, somehow.

Yeah, I just saw this scroll across my youtube recommended feed from the channel formerly called Beasts of War. I fast forwarded through it and didn't see any actual previews on their lengthy interview video but it was easy to find with a quick search.
I think I'd have preferred if the scale (i.e. for the human support figs) was 15-20mm to make the mechs a bit more manageable and cheaper overall.

I played a game of this last weekend at the club meetup. The guy running it was using his collection of AT-43 models. It's remarkably like Cyberpunk Combat Zone, which is a compliment, Cyberpunk is a solid skirmish game I'm happy to play. The biggest difference is the faction warfare die. Which is really just two entries on faction specific crit damage tables - I was pretty unimpressed by it. The loose turn structure works for small skirmish games quite well. I'd be a lot more impressed by it if I hadn't already played Cyberpunk recently. I'm a huge fan of Andy's wargaming corpus and while it's a solid modern skirmish game, I was disappointed there wasn't more innovation in the core mechanics.
I was initially put off by the price, it didn't look like good value at all, but I'm watching the Tabletop Titans sponsored paythrough and the buildings are massive, as are some of the mechs. Hmm I'll keep an eye on it.
