Tonight, sorting one of my bitz boxes, I came across one of my oldest GW minis.
An elf from 1984.
Pure, unpainted, oxidizing lead. Seen in person he's almost black.

I don't recognize this one and can't make out the stamp.

Well that's the best my phone can give you.

I tried enhancing the image, may need to try it in photoshop again or you could make a cast of it.

I guess you'll just have to trust me that it says Games Workshop 1984.

That's a nice find.
I had thought most models from around then were still from Citadel, so it is an odd one.
