I was just wondering what you guys thought about this?
the AoS app is great and i think the new 40k data card format would fit something like it really well.

GW has already announced a new 40K app. Should be out sometime in the next couple weeks.

No.

We know it is coming and that's it. Itc guys claimed it's good but then again when on gw stream how objective they are...

sounds like i didnt miss much info and there isnt much to be had.

If they do what they did to AoS's apps:
The old one will go to Legacy, and you will be able to access everything the 40k app does for you now, or possibly remove all restrictions.
The new 40k app will take over, and as codexes are released, factions will get locked down until you put in the codex code to unlock them. As they do now.

When? probably 2 weeks after the boxes arrive

Note in aos full warscroll is available whether you bought codex or not. Very handy for allying. No need to buy codex: knights for example to ally knight for example if 40k, follows aos style
