The New Stencils Kickstarter ends this Sunday, 22n October.
Many new designs, pictures and videos have been added since the start, so its worth another look even if you have already looked at it.
this is a long one, but it does cover several things in detail, Stipple Technique, Hexnotic and Hex Tumble stencils and a bit on colour theory.

This pattern takes inspiration from the "Coconut Crab" scheme popularised by the awesome Catgut Painting (CatgutPainting - YouTube), but many others have come up with their own take on this idea.
Obviously my take on it is going to involve stencils, which will help speed up the process, but if you need pointers on a brushwork version (or you may even want to combine both techniques) do check
