Fifteen years after its start, Alkemy got a consequent makeover, without losing its identity, yet still stays true to the spirit and the core mechanics that made the 2007 rules great. This second edition brings a whole host of small improvements and developments, which enrich the game without complicating it. Keep it simple without being simplistic...

We've just launched a kickstarter campaign to finance the book for the second edition, and the campaign is already funded.

Go to the kickstarter page and discover the new edition of the game!

I really like the Aurlok sculpts for this game. Very well done but subtle anatomy.

Best of luck on the 2nd edition.

I will pass this on to people from my town who played it

The old meta is dead and the new meta struggles to be born. Now is the time of munchkins.

As much as I loved the designs of the Jade Triad, I found the 'true scale' to be hard work.

What was very cool as that the Jade Triad and Chinese from Helldorado fit together nicely.

I would love to see a redesign with more heroic scaling, but I imagine the creators would not like that.

Changing scale would be impractical, as the entire range is in 28/32 mm scale. This is a standard scale, and we currently have over 250 miniatures in range. There's no demand from the community to change the scale, so there's no reason for us to change it. It would be very expensive to change scale.

Thanks for the reply.

Yeah, I thought that would be the case.

I had all the original Jade Triad back in the day, I mixed them with the Chinese from Helldorado to make Frostgrave and Dragon Rampant warbands.
