I have tried the new Vallejo Game Colors, and I don't think that it is going to be for me. I am looking at a few other lines, mainly Army Painter, Two Thin Coats, and Coat 'D Arms. I am going through the paint chart on this website linked below:

https://www.dakkadakka.com/wiki/en/paint_range_compatibility_chart

Looks like the Army Painter and Two Thin Coats are up to date, but I only see 48 paints form Coat 'D Arms. They have about three times more than that on their site. Do the rest simply don't match anything or has it just not been updated? For instance in the WWII line that CDA has, it would seem odd to me that one doesn't match one of the older Camo Green or Catachan Green. Same thing with the other lines with Kommando Khaki and Bronzed Flesh in different lines.

Any thoughts guys?

Coat D'arms has good color matches, but it a pretty old school paint. coverage can be tricky, etc.

I really like Pro Acryl, although they dont' really match anything else.

I do like the old Citadel line, so CDE would be right up my alley. It is the reason why I switched to Vallejo way back when.

The Coat D'arms entry on the compatibility chart just covers their 'Fantasy Range' which was originally sold by GW under the Citadel label, and doesn't include anything they've added to the range in the interim, or their other ranges.
