So if I am playing space wolves both Logan and the Champions of Russ has things triggering when a character kills something.

In a melee situation can I just backroll/slowroll until they have one wound left and the attack with my hero? Do I need to declare my sequencing in advance?

As always, rolling one attack at a time is the default. if there are weird interactions, just go by the normal rules and make one attack at a time.

But do I need to announce it in advance?

Or put in another way could I do a fast roll, sett it aside when the target has one wound left, resolve the attacks on my hero and then go back to my fast roll pool if nesaserry?

Is there a provision in the rules for that? (Hint, no there is not).

There's no rule that dictates order in which models in a unit makes their attack. Obviously, you wouldn't be able to make attacks with Logan in the middle of resolving the attacks from a separate, non-attached unit.

Actually there is:
If you selected more than one target for your unit to shoot at, you must resolve all of the attacks against one target before moving on to the next target. If your unit is shooting more than one ranged weapon at a target, and those weapons have different profiles, then after you have resolved attacks with one of those weapons you must, if any other weapons with the same profile are also being shot at that unit, resolve those attacks before resolving any other attacks against the target.
And
If your unit is making attacks with more than one melee weapon against a unit, and those weapons have different profiles, then after you have resolved an attack with one of those weapons, if any other weapons with the same profile are also being used to make attacks against that unit, you must resolve those attacks before resolving any other attacks against the target.

And what does that entail for Logan?

You have to declare targets before rolling, and you have to resolve all same-weapon attacks before moving to a different type. So you can’t do as you desire.

Assuming Logan has a different weapon profile from the rest of his unit, you cannot resolve Logan's attacks until you have completed resolving all attacks of a weapon profile you have already begun to resolve.
