I am a big fan of scatter terrain (I'd rather have a table full of it than L-shape ruins) and yours looks great. Where'd you find the barge model? It's killer!

Busy day today with finishing all the basics. I did about 25 models today basing and undercoating and have just one squad and a support squad to go. I did the final sort out of Troopers and now have a Mortar, Auto Canon and Missile Launcher Squad. Pulse some snipers as well. Then into the real painting.

I have also put aside the third Platoon, but I will not start it until all the rest is complete. For the first time ever I have run out of GW slotter basses and will need at least twenty for the third Platoon.

Well I am hoping to get a couple of units done over the next couple of weeks. I did a pile of scatter terrain yesterday and prepped all the Flamer Troopers and did twelve all up to finish of the Squads.

I just finish the last Squad so all are now undercoated and based. I left the Mortar Squad till last as I had to work on mortifying Troopers with Mortar shells. I used a couple of NCO figures as I have more then I can used so they are being converted to crews and stubber gunners. They have come not bad at all.

I finished all the basing and undercoating today with the completion of the Mortar Squad. Eighty figures all up and I hate this part of the hobby. Now to the real painting with the Missile Squad underway and it should be completed in the next couple of days. Then I will do the the first Platoon Command Squad.

As an old Mortar man I got carried away and completed the base and tubes. I only have to paint four figures to complete the Squad. There was a bit of kit bashing with this lot as Inso has not done Mortar Crews so I had to remove weapons and replace with mortar bombs. Used mainly the Sgt figures to do this and added a Vox Operator as well. I pleased with how they have come out and it will be a quick job to complete this Squad now.

Had a look at adding Stubbers to the badges. I not sure that the tower will work. Even tried to add Leman Russ sponson turrets but due to the shape of the hull they worked firing directly forward then they become anti aircraft guns when firing to the flanks. Not a good look! Bugger not sure what I will do here now.

They do make great Tank transports.
