My only real complaint would be boss difficulty. There was meant to be one that was considered to be equal or harder than Malenia. But none of them came anywhere even close which i found a bit disappointing.

There's a few that feel similar, but I think its mostly that they're all on one health bar rather than making you feel like you just managed to pull it off only to find out you're half way there. On the final story boss right now and he's definitely a challenge with the build I've got. Not sure I'd say harder than Malenia though.

First phase of the final boss i actually found shockingly easy. The second phase i found difficult mostly because there was a nuclear apocalypse going on and couldn't see a damn thing.

Furnace Golem/Wickerman - Annoying and tedious, but not difficult. I started skipping them after the first two.
Divine Dancing Lion or w/e - I didn't even attempt to do it solo, popped NPC and Mimic and just bonked it.
Blackgaol Knight guy - Easy to parry and stagger with Brick Hammer. He did one shot me once with an unlucky volley.
Death Knights - The grab is absolute nonsense, but parry FTW.
Rellana - Couldn't figure out her parry timings so I gave in and popped a summon and that fight turned into a joke...I wish there was a way to do these bosses again.
Demihuman Swordmaster - Easier to stagger than parry so I ended up stagger locking him.
Ghostflame Dragon - The sleeping one was a joke, but the other one that was fighting a bunch of NPCs was cancer since they would all focus me instead and I ended up waiting AFK for the Dragon to kill them all.
Black Knight Boss - Weak to parry and stagger.
Dryleaf Dane - (for the unarmed) weak to stagger
Golden Hippo - I don't like these monster fights so I just popped a mimic and staggered it to death

I have no idea where I'm at. I've been avoiding guides so far, but I feel like I've missed stuff. The vertical layout is funky.

Well, I beat Messmer and the Romina without summons or buffs.
Romina is MUCH easier, especially since she has absurdly easy parry and is open to a riposte after one parry.
Messmer is the hardest boss I've done without summons by far. His leaping multi-thrust is one of the more annoying things in the game to dodge.
He does have many parryable attacks, but the timing on several of them is extremely tight and it's honestly not worth it. It takes three parries per riposte and it resets on phase shift (as far as I can tell) and his riposte opening is so short that I missed it multiple times. His punish windows after combos are enormous and most of his attacks are extremely easy to dodge with light roll or Bloodhound's Step.

Edit:

1-Shot Midra, Lord of the Frenzied Flame without summons or guide with +25 Blood Milady (Wing Stance AoW, the heavy is nice). So apparently that boss is a joke or very weak to Bleed/Slash. Visually impressive fight, but very weak boss IMO. (RL 180, Scadutree 11)

Midra seemed absurdly weak to me as well.

Midra is fine, but he needs double hp. He's actually quite a vicious fight, but the hp drops in an instant.

Messmer is extremely learnable. You can genuniely be no hitting him in less than ten tries.

Assuming your game doesn't lag out every other attempt and you get dropped controller connections.
