Yeah, probably.

The phrase 'dead good' hammers home the undead angle, to my eye.

I could see it end up pretty large. Probably slimmer than a Necron Monolith, but a bit taller for the tower bit that would be mounted on a decently tall magical effect to make it float above the ground, and all of it on a fairly wide base so it doesn't tip over and smash everything.

And there's probably a gigantic tactical rock between the base and the swirly crap, because someone at GW has a fetish for these things.

Nehekhara lives! Sort of!

Doesn't necessarily have to be the whole tower. Could just be a part of the thing.

Was there a silver tower in apocslypse way back, or did I just try to build one anyway?

I remember having great plans and putting cut up CD discs behind windows to get the feel of warped and prismatic reality inside.

No model. I built one using the Cities of Death terrain, Chaos Vehicle Accessory Sprue, and a bunch of stuff from a craft shop like cake tier circles for the base, a random crystal for the primary weapon etc.

Well the rumours were pretty much spot on. Adore the Ossiarchs, exactly what they needed. Also new Spearheads that were'nt shown.

Really love the Tzeentch sorcerer and the obelisks. I really wish we could get knights of Tzeentch (on and off discs).

I'm probably going to get, like, three sets of those obelisks.

I knew you'd eventually warm up to Age of Sigmar... next you'll be reading the books... and you'll have forgotten all about that other game with its strange square bases.

And just what do you think I would use THREE sets of those obelisks for, anyhow?

Three armies? You did say you wanted an entire Household of Imperial Knights. I thought that maybe you were going all in on an AOS Tzeentch stuff.

To be honest, I thought they were going to end up in your 40k armies... because they look really fething cool.

Really happy with the OBR reveals.

All great models but Reapers are my favourites.

Everything new rounds out the faction quite nicely as well.

My one question is why would Crematorian archers need the brazier, but I guess Balefire could be an alternative form of fire.

I'm going to guess they'll have a rule that lets them dip the arrow heads to make them flaming or something.

They’re tokens that go one units that have been shot. I think they said they did a few things but one was that the affected units can’t heal/regain wounds.

Yeah lore wise they walk along with the unit as a brazier - honestly I actually like that they have little legs because it fits with them keeping up with the unit as it moves around in the game.

Functionally in the game they are tokens that you put on the targeted unit, which will mean that either the ability can only target 2 units at a time or that it has a limited activation window (lasts for 1 turn).

I know it will work ok from a rules perspective

It was just I thought the idea of the subfaction of the Ossiarchs whose whole thing is being burning boneboys, needing a brazier to light their arrows on fire sort of amusing.

Isn't that the whole Crematorians thing? Being on fire?

As usual, Age of Sigmar knocking it out of the park. New Ossiarchs look dope and definitely feels like they're channeling a bit of Tomb Kings with the new chariots and archers being brought in, though it's interesting they went for the 3 eye design for them. Highlight is definitely the new reapers though, very cool looking and curious what the rules will be since it seems like they're an anti-character/caster unit.

Was hoping more for Tzzentch, but the new character is very much channeling the old school evil wizard look with his popped up collar.
