The Ogors sounds like they are going through a lot of changes, will be interesting to see how the are received.

The Cities of Sigmar makes sense - the Dwarf content is pretty much gone right now - Dark Elf will be interesting to see what GW does with them. Rolling them back into Old World would make the most sense - throw a couple of heroes with them and you've got a full army ready to go. Even losing the DoK models isn't a huge problem and they could always bring back the older smaller metal versions and cauldron.

He's very reliable. He accurately described the just announced Sylvaneth hero a couple of months ago. He was the first person to talk about darkwater and he got the full Nurgle release 95% correct. (He described the cankerborn as Nurgle troggoths) He definitely either works for GW himself or has a very good source.

Edit here's their original post from November. I'd say it's pretty accurate.

Yeah, he’s been near spot on. While he’s kind of been off the mark on model descriptions, he’s much more specific than previous rumor folk who were frustratingly vague.

When it says about Ogor's losing their "Mongolian flair". Makes me curious, the only really Mongol thing about them was the stache's. So not really much to lose.

There's other bits in there too like hats, clothing bits here and there. It might also mean that GW is considering making them look even more inhuman in the face and such.

The upturned 'toes' on their footwear. Maybe they'll just go back to the classic, rounded hobnail boots.

They can't make them "that" inhuman, as the Cities Ogor's are meant to be them, but "gentrified".

I don't mind losing the old HE, DE, and Dwarf models from the range, but I really want them to include duardin and aelves in the mix of models.

Cities shouldn't be nothing but humans, with the odd ogor here and there. Like give us a duardin artillery crew member or some aelf archer or ranger.

The two things that surprised me with the Cities of Sigmar new models was the lack of elf and dwarf units - not just individuals but whole units suggesting a multi-cultural army.

And the lack of steam punk, which is something that they've heavily pushed as a focus in the stories.

In my view they should have dwarf artillery machines (several) and a dwarven unit of steadfast warriors. Backed up with Elven archers and skirmisher warriors. Perhaps even a dragon.

Well that was quicker than expected, Bone Zone time:

Also a lot of old scenery returning.

Had the Soulreaper been pulled from sale? Odd to see that one in the article as its not a new model.

That said that is one big release of Ossiarch content for sure! LOADS of awesome stuff in there!

I'm still hoping their points come down as the army expands; nothing worse than an elite army with high price points on things that just means you can't take many units on the table at once.

Spearhead locked, so they're treating it as a single release.

OBR pre-order announcement is the kick in the butt that I need to finish my 2 spearheads that I bought when they were first previewed weeks back.

Getting 2 of every new kit in this release.

I'm really going to have to crack on and get my small Mortek cavalry units finished so I can clear space for those chariots!

What is the purpose of the assassin’s first ability, the one that moves you around terrain? I need an example where it would actually be useful.

depending on the size of the terrain that could be a helluva lot of free movement.

Yeah it also means they can hop from one "lane" to another around the map. Get past walls, barriers and other dangerous terrain features.

It's less useful against a small scatter terrain, but a building feature could easily let them move a long way.

That might be the ideal way to move them into line to charge or to get them out of trouble. Even use them as a bait to lure the enemy to moving something nasty to counter them only to mess them up as you whip the assassins away

Hm, if they hop from one side of the Bonetide Nexus to the other, they could clear half the board
