Hey folks, I wanted to share about a relatively new large scale fleet game, Grand Fleet Admiral.
The game is in active development and the developer is very responsive and open to ideas.
The community is growing and quite friendly and is centered on Discord (where you can download the rulebooks).
For those interested, the game currently has an active campaign on MyMiniFactory for seven new factions. The game's full range (3d files) is also available on the same platform.
While primarily a 3D printed game, there are a variety of merchants for getting physical minis which can be found on the game's Discord.

"What makes GFA so unique is the ruleset designed specifically for huge fleet on fleet engagements which often have close to or above 100 ships on the table!"
What is the novel element of the rules that enables hundreds of models?

So it's just multibasing ships. I mean, I'm a fan of it myself, but it's not exactly innovative, and quite a cheat for "hundreds of ships". Played a con game of Legend of the Galactic Heroes once upon a time that had probably 300 ships a side, but multibased and moved as task force groups so that the actual gameplay elements was a fairly standard 12. Did some cool things with formation/stances that I really haven't seen replicated in any other ruleset. I've been watching for years, but I don't think the guy running it ever got it to publication.
I'm also still a fan of the short lived Babylon 5: Fleet Action 2nd edition rules, which had squadron movement where you plotted the movement of a lead ship, and the rest of the formation were just arranged around it. I've organized and played that game with probably a hundred ships a side, though that was a 4 player 6 hour massive affair.

Might be interesting!
No one:
Me: the rectangular "holes" at the front of each of the above ships looks odd, like they're unfinished. Consider sculpting them into a "scoop" or some other ending that looks less like a slot awaiting some weapon/module
Good luck!

I play...
Sigh.
Who am I kidding? I only paint these days... |

They're all individually based. It's manageable because your fleet is broken down into different battlegroups, with command ships acting like leader units for coherency, similar to 40k. I have been out of the loop for a while, and the game has more than doubled in size in the last year.

So far the only ones I know of are in their Discord which has a section for it - most are a few lines and photos but there's a few well written ones there too not too far up the page.
