Just going to say that game is such a classic and it's getting a remaster for the whole dow 1 series soon enough. When it's out i'm totally going to try out multiplayer again but i may skip out on soulstorm multiplayer. Flyers were kinda lame even if dark eldar were cool. I was a pretty good guard player back in the day during the end of winter assault.

You know, I still get the chills watching that intro animation even now, 21 years on. That was ahead of it's time, and the game for me still stands up

Pokemon Blue, Pokemon Stadium, Super Metroid, Super Mario World,

Edit: Retro is typically referencing a time period 20-30 years in the past, so like... green day is retro lol.

I keep going back to Diablo II. I don't even know how many times I've done Act 1 at this point. It's just comfort food gaming for me.

If you like Tetris, I recommend looking up SummoningSalt's video on Youtube about the history of Tetris world records. It's a fascinating look at the game in general, and at all the top players doing crazy things in it.

My armies (re-counted and updated on 11/7/24, including modeled wargear options):
Dark Angels: ~16000 Astra Militarum: ~1200 | Imperial Knights: ~2300 | Leagues of Votann: ~1300 | Tyranids: ~3400 | Stormcast Eternals: ~5000 | Kruleboyz: ~3500 | Lumineth Realm-Lords: ~700
Check out my P&M Blogs: ZergSmasher's P&M Blog | Imperial Knights blog | Board Games blog | Total models painted in 2024: 40 | Total models painted in 2025: 29 | Current main painting project: Tomb Kings

My favourite game of all time:

Final Fantasy Tactics.

Bought it on everything it's showed up on. Will be playing yet again in September.

Its a biography about the drama around the game's creation and the fight over who owned the rights to publish it.

I was hoping for something more action-packed.

Here's my idea:

It’s Tetris reimagined as a high-stakes sci-fi thriller. In a war-torn city, telekinetic workers desperately build towering walls to protect their homes, while a rogue faction of psychic saboteurs tears those walls apart and rains destruction from the sky. At the center of it all is a young builder with powers barely under control, forced to lead a fight where every falling block could mean survival — or annihilation.

What do you think?

Pretty sure that happens in Pixels, but the less said about that the better.
