Modular goblins of the hunched, loincloth, pointy-nosed scavengers variety. Not as overwrought fang-faced as the Old World common goblins, and not as nicely dressed. Cave-dwelling primitive monsters, with broken equipment stolen from victims (or clubs and crude spears, crude bows/slings). Something more like the early Goblin Slayer novel art than GW or D&D, who are dressed too nicely. Bonus points if I can put their little bow-legged carcasses on wolves and wargs.

Mantic goblins have scavenged equipment and pointy noses.

Forgot another perennial that may actually happen!

Archadian Spiders/Necromunda Spiders/Rogue Trader Guard/Imperial Army!

I mean just look at that dude, with his bubble helmet, his football padding, his jumpsuit, he just needs to be updated to modern sculpting!

But for now I'll just have to be happy with Mad Robot's take.

It doesn't, that's the problem.

2 or 3 years back they did a KS with some familiar faces, Jedi Master Obama, Sidius Trump and some others. And then they...

Never even put up a pledge manager.

HF has great models but even on good days struggles to deliver simple orders. And the last 2 years have not been good days.

The model exists, I actually do have a resin master, but I doubt it, or any of the KS models will ever be delivered.

I do give you 50/50s odds they'll just put them up retail.

I just went back to the beginning of your Hasslefree thread and looked at those greens. Oh, man! He'd be SO good as a daemon prince in my Death Guard D:

For 3D printers, this guy has several kits that are almost there:

https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/game/hive-city-guard-infantry-squad

I've almost pulled the trigger a few times, now. Something's holding me back, though. Not sure what.

After 5 years of backing Anvil's digital forge on Patreon, they've almost given me all the pieces I need to assemble my own serious take on Imperial Army troops. I'm just missing the football padding and the right goggle & helmet combo. (I actually think the goggles and helmets are in my collection some where, as shells in seperate kits. But five years of monthly releases makes for a LOT of bits to go through.)

Others have suggested this as well. Care to expand on what that might look like? Visuals would be helpful

How about a plastic kit of bits that snap on to your 28mm actors?

So something to make cyborgs?

I had an odd thought. Jump Jets for Imperial Knights/Armigers!

Then I can live out my Starship Troopers mecha fantasy.

You'll have to be more specific.

Well, I rather like the kastelan robots of GW, some in this style would be good.
