Excellent work!

Now where is your Space Marine army? It's a gaming law that everyone has one.

Thanks! I wanna build more nids this year so I would have 3k both of nids and guards. And start playing already

Great army shots, kabaakaba. Well done on getting them finished! The orange tanks look really striking next to the blue infantry/smaller vehicles.

Loving the dino look for the gaunts - very unique and striking!

I think it's just fresh look for nids, they have great sculpts and it's strange paint them GW's way.

Thanks, I'm happy with both Militarum and nids schemes. I spend some time for researching them and result is satisfactory for me.

Finished termagants brood and first ripper swarm. Like models, even though they're push fit. But due to how they sculpted it's fine even if you make a full brood of same sculpts they looks great.
Spoiler:

Now I wanna make a little pause and play few games before I continue painting. I have some health issues which prevent me from drive into the city to play and people don't wanna drive or ride here even if here is free barbeque, drinks and free transfer... So I think it's gonna be sadhammer crusade. With my little nids against my IG. Once points allow I'll add next brood to nids. And so on.

Thanks! I hope solo not super boring. At least while I played kill team it was pretty fine. Also if opponent is me , I can use some nice house rules like adding terrain rules from LI for example which I really appreciate.

Nothing significant to post, I'm finishing not wargaming side project. And started own table. Now it's barely 3 44"x30" sheets and pile of 20mm square pipes to be welded into frame. I wanna make table modular, so I can assemble it to be CP/BA/KT or 44"x60"/44""x90" 40k table.

They look great! And a real cool idea for the paint scheme too!

Thanks!

Played today small game of sadhammer. It's ain't bad. I'm preoccupied whole time, and there is no one to bother me with their habits or strange behavior. Ibelived I knew all my units well and of course I forgot almost everything. Deepstriking reveners, charge after advance for hormagaunts skulking horror for termagants. Forget orders for IG turn one. I definitely need write all down on paper to be able quick check rules and stats.
Also looks like 30x44 is too small even for 400pts game. Nids are too fast to play on such table. Turn one hormagaunts and winged prime in the middle of table. And cause I use pieces of gallowdark as ruins guards can't properly shoot turn one. Overall it would be more fun if I memorize stratagems and all rules or write them so I don't need checking my phone every time I do something.

Spoiler:

Valkyrie and Russ are terrain here. First pict is shooting phase of turn 2. The second is end of turn 4.

It's feels like I need play more before order anything for guards
Right now I don't know if my planned infantry army could do anything against my own needs.

Some updates
First of all, I'm finally geot myself a proper paints. It's vallejo game color box of 80 paints + inks.

And I'm happy with them. They work exactly how I expected from them.

Also I started painting some stuf for kill team
Some the imperial fists kill team - angel of the death and the death guard
And finally completed my stormlord. Used him as a terrain in the kill team game and it's work surprisingly fine in this role.

Continue to working on the Plague Marine Champion.
After all that IG it's huge and fun to paint. And switching on different colour is a nice bonus
Would be glad for any feedback as always

I see you changed the blue sword for brown. How come?

I really like that Stormlord, too.

To be honest it's just don't fit entire look. Too elvish maybe? So I repaint it with rust. May be I'll add some "blight" effect over current pain job.

Thanks, that stormlord is initially the bright orange baneblade. But time, warp, and my bad mood make him like this

Looking great already! The rust effect on the champion's shoulder pads look amazing! It seems a bit flat on the back pack though ..

Amazing work nonetheless!

Dread and hauler are already assembled, as well as Tyranid half of KT box.

The Hauler took a lot of time and still not finished. It's a good model, lot's of different materials. An organic an metal parts. I can't choose right color for his belly so try few different like grey and violet but in result selected greish pink, vallejo warm grey. And with few glazes of alien purple get what I want.
Now building steel parts and then bronze.

As always I would be glad for feedback, good, bad or ugly

The colour palette for the death guard work really well, and you have done a great jobonthose first few marines. The fleshy grey on the hauler looks good, a deathly plaid colour which fits in well.

The blending from green to yellowish is just amazing ! the pink fleshy bit is also perfectly executed the dark metalics bits are also realy convincing.
The rust feel a little bit flat in comparison, may be try drybrushing some darker sports or metalics on top ? or stipling to add more texture/ depth ?

It looks great as is don't get me wrong but i feel like it could just bring the model to a higher standing with just a few extra steps on the rust effect .

keep up the amazing work !
