I never heard of this!

I do think the point still stands, because the statistics that I was responding to probably weren't much impacted by the late game development of this piece of likely experimental, dangerous looking technology, and even if so, certainly not to the degree that those statistics would be affected by the ubiquitous jump and teleport technology of the 41st Millennium... But, wow, thanks for showing me something I've never seen before.
