Ambitious - Raw recruits looking to prove themselves, earn their gang colors or the respect of their battle-brothers, captains determined to stamp their mark on history with a glorious victory - or secure a promotion by shanking their boss the moment their back's turned, that sort of thing. Models should have the drive to overcome all obstacles. Raising starts with no end in sight.

Payback Time! - People who live for vengeance, units whose specialty is counterattack or just ones with an inordinate amount of firepower. If its response is loud and clear, it fits the theme. Entries should be out for retribution. Reserves ready to strike back, mooks out to even the score. Time to even out the books.

All Your Base Are Belong to Us - A model with an extravagant base. Or a model that is part of a military base or is adept at infiltrating or destroying such bases. It could also be a model of a conqueror such as Genghis Khan or even Julius Caesar who once declared "I came, I saw, all their base are belong to me!" - or something along those lines. Noise Marines or other units armed with sonic weapons are also acceptable entries since all your bass are belong to them. Also models with high pH’s.

Chaff - Little guys swarming the battle field. Grots, gaunts, conscripts. Disposable things to clutter up the battlefield and get in the enemy’s way. Or fighter jets deploying countermeasures. Due to the nature if this topic, we will lift the normal 5 model limit.

We had a tie for second last month, so I’m just advancing both of them. Poll will run for 2 days

I have something in mind for Payback Time that fits the theme perfectly.

Voted for chaff, but I could probably do something for any of them, which is good.

Ambitious: Like I said last time, I could enter a Tomb King, as they have big ambitions regarding world domination. And living forever. A few characters from Middle-Earth I have would fit as well, such as Wulf from The War of the Rohirrim.

Payback Time: Again, like last time, I've got some Kin of the Leagues of Votann that need paint. And I'm sure I've got some stuff with inordinate firepower around as well.

All Your Base Are Belong To Us: Hmm, I've got a Stormreach Portal for my Stormcast that needs paint. It fits on two counts too: It could be part of one of Sigmar's bases, and it allows the Stormcast Eternals to teleport, potentially right into the middle of an enemy stronghold to attack from the inside.

Chaff: So many options. Hobgrot Slittaz for the Kruleboyz, Hill Tribesmen or Mordor Orcs for Middle-Earth, Guardsmen for my Astra Militarum. And plenty of other things as well (including various Dune grunts).

I voted strategically for Chaff, because it'd be the same entry I intended for Ambitious, but Chaff had votes already.

Ambitious, although payback works as well, for the Sith...

If chaff wins, would people want to remove the model cap for the month? Get those waves of little guys done?

Removing the model limit on Chaff is a good idea, actually.

In case of a tie I get the privilege of acting as a tiebreaker. One of the the perks of running this show. We will do “Chaff” for September (with no model cap) and "All Your Base Are Belong to Us” in NOVEMBER. As a reminder that October is the halloween special. Which sorts out the rest of the year.

August - Weathered
September - Chaff
October - Halloween special
November - All Your Base Are Belong to Us
December - Open round.
