They made a game that came out in 2000 look like a game that came out in 2002. Impressive!
I'd pick it up if it was in the $9.99 range, because it had an amazing story, but $26.99 is a pass. There's other stuff I'd rather waste money on.

"Sometimes the only victory possible is to keep your opponent from winning." - The Emperor, from The Outcast Dead.
"Tell your gods we are coming for them, and that their realms will burn as ours did." -Thostos Bladestorm
Deux Ex game of the year edition is currently £0.83, and the revision mod (also on steam) is free. No shortage of free texture mods for it i'd imagine.
One good thing about this remaster, it made me google the franchise and it turns out I never played Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.
I think I own it, due to Steam sales over the years, but I vaguely remember having installation issues. That was my older rig, so I should give it a shot. Maybe I'll play Human Revolution to rekindle my memories of that game.

Paying (most likely) 60 euro for a gakky remaster instead of getting it for 47 cents when it frequently goes on sale? No way they believe people are this gullible, do they?

Lets not derail the Deus Ex remastered thread by bringing up how you found a way to mod and play Perfect Dark, the N64 title from 2000 and greatest game of all time. That is the game you were referring to, correct?

Perfect Dark? I'm not familiar with that title? Is that the European name for GoldenEye, aka the best N64 game ever?

It's essentially the sequel to GoldenEye. Rare made it as a follow up late in the N64's life with largely the same gameplay. Well worth playing if you can adapt to the controls of older FPSs.

No, it must be some obscure localisation of Left 4 Dead 2...
