This looks like a great little game. Table size is a single sheet of paper. 6 Knights a side. Solo rules available. Lots of customization.
Check it out: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1674560143/greathelm/description
Lots of stretch goals adding cool stuff and options including skins for sci-fi.

I played the initial version when Malev released it and it's a slick system. Really excited for the full rules to see what he's done with it.

Yeah, it seems really fun. Deciding how whether to rotate your dice down also seems interesting. I like the concept of momentum, and I’m curious how weapons and gear will impact the “clash” rolls.
I’m less enthusiastic about the system trying to be all things for all people, as I find generic systems that are easily adapted to both fantasy and science fiction to generally be very bland and too abstract.

They should put "Darn portable and probably easy to teach" as their tag line

I backed it immediately and played a solo test game. It was pretty great. Especially the fact that stuff does not simple connect and rumble till the end but a lot of back and forth movement is happening via Bashes etc. Automatically Appended Next Post: Goonhammer has a review of Greathelm and they are very positive.

Looks like a fun system. I like the initiative "spend" mechanic.
