I am sure as gamers we all have storage issues.

After decades of foam and comic boxes- Clear trays are the winner for me. Easy to see when you are looking for your miniatures, and stack-able

The sheets are adhered to card board from the boxes I get from my weekly shopping at Sams club.

For me I wanted to get away from foam trays. The main reason is you can put more miniatures on a magnetized tray.

For the none-magnetized minis I use foam or bubble cushion in a $7 Portable Storage Cases from (Harbor freight).

Can you carry the Magnetized miniatures sideways?

Aka, what happens if the box tilts on its side?

Basic sheet magnet in the box, 5x2mm (multiple for bigger models) under the bases, spaced to be flush.

I would not trust any aggressive movement sideways. If held flat, gravity is working for you. Magnets are not the best for lateral force.

You also get much better grip on steel. I’ve picked up some thin sheets to go over the magnets in the bases of my boxes. I would still be very careful going sideways.
