Dont know if the paints are any good but the label design is freaking boring for a hobby paint.

It's got a very Apple store minimalist, early 2000s kinda feel.

I think the question is does it need more? I only look at the label to know what color/brand I'm using. I don't need each bottle to be a mini-marketing billboard.

Well. this one has already passed its £30,000 goal and is currently sitting at just over £108,000 with 15 days to go, so somebody's interested in this paint.

And as for the labels, this is from the Kickstarter page:

The dropper bottles we've chosen provide a good view of the paint inside, a secure lid, and come pre drilled. We've deliberately kept information to a required minimum on the labels. 17ml paint per bottle. The Mini-Colour.com website will contain extensive information about each colour. *There may be slight changes to production bottles & labels

KS price is around £0.21/ml, assuming tenner postage, with a free case (not shown, potentially low value), and a 6 month wait but you gotta buy it all. TTC is 0.23/ml. Some new colours here maybe, I'd have to wait to see how people rate them and what the shelf price is, won't be backing, this is an expensive time of year for me re hobby stuff, this isn't compelling enough right now.

If you are going to buy a full range and have them out on your paint table or wall etc it will take considerable visual space/area in your studio/room. If you dont mind looking at what looks like some kind of medicine bottle label, repeated 100+ times on your hobby space then fine.
Im not saying a billboard or even something tacky but these are hobby paints aimed to paint small fun miniatures so theres a full world of design between, amateur minimalism and billboards. Its supposed to be exiting not sterile.
Either way matters little if the paints are good, thats the main thing.

Bottles are great. There's two things I need from paint bottles: easy to get paint out, and easy to read what's inside. Compare to the complete trash that is Reaper, where the paint name is in the back and I've had to highlight it with a marker so I know where to even look.

Reaper not good...I do not really want to talk about other ranges on this KS thread. But if a company does not want to add anything but the name, may just keep lable transparent and let's see those nice colours... instead of this massive empty white label where you can barely see the colours.

Oh I definitely love transparent labels (which GW does!)

Range I use have 230 colours, and god, I hate when I need looking for actual paint name cause it's small and with 35 grey colour for example it inevitable. And this bottles from KS looks like doesn't have readable colour name/code. At least not big as I like

At least one more, produced by Golden Acrylics, using the full range of artist pigments and not just the "safe-for-kids" pigments. That's my dream, anyway.
