War Walkers:
Each model can have each shuriken cannon it is equipped with replaced with one of the following:
1 missile launcher
1 bright lance
1 scatter laser
1 starcannon
Does this mean you can have 2 missile launchers?

Uhhh... cause I'm trying to be really really cheap for an all vehicle event and the cheapest unbuilt vehicle I can find is a Warwalker.

Vypers are also cheaper in points and due how long the kit being around you should be able to find it even cheaper money wise...
At least since latest codex changed Heavy Support Weapons into infantry

I actually think double missile launcher walkers have a couple of kind of specific niches. They're worse anti-tank than double lance, worse anti-infantry than double scatters, and less reliable generalists than a scatter+lance loadout... BUT! If you already have a walker that can reliably toss its AP-improving rule onto something, the double AML walker becomes somewhat better at anti-tank or somewhat better at horde clearing. Plus, if you happen to play on tables with very long firing lanes, you outrange the other options and might be able to keep the walker alive by simply staying far away.

ATTENTION. Psychic tests are unfluffy. Your longing for AV is understandable but misguided. Your chapter doesn't need a separate codex. Doctrines should go away. Being a "troop" means nothing. This has been a cranky service announcement. You may now resume your regularly scheduled arguing.
