Thanks!

I've been totally rubbish at keeping this thread updated, though to be fair I've not done a massive amount of hobbying the last month or so. Got lots of partially completed projects, which probably isn't helping either...!

But some progress. Having epically failed to get the Dire Wolf and Reaver done last month, I've been working on a few outstanding items for my LI Iron Warriors. For the monthly challenge I've narrowed it down to a pair of Falchions, as I'm not convinced I'll get the rest done in time but intend to get them all done asap. Got the base colours done and on to the fun of hazard striping at the moment...

Other than that, I've made a little progress on the next batch of Kraken termagants and the two leapers I hadn't finished. Didn't bother photographing them though, as just basecoated and the first layer of contrast and drybrushing done so far.

I've also been working on something competely different, doing some historical stuff for Victory at Sea. A bit of side project, as these will see use for teaching history through gaming, with a group that I volunteer with. Starting with the Battle of the River Plate, so just finished the Graf Spee and now working on the British cruisers. Not entirely sure I've got the wake right with this, any c&c welcome as always!

Edit: also noticed the blue on the water is a lot, well blue-er than I thought now I see it in the photographs compared to how it looks to me in person. Might need to adjust the basing colours a little, had pondering putting a green wash over it?

Finally, I've also been playing with magnets a lot, magnetising the VaS ships turrets (only the battleships and the Graf Spee, normal cruisers are too small!) and some new 3d printed epic terrain... Not had chance to photograph those yet, but will do so soon!
