Imgur decided that rather than faff about with rating adult content and having a deal with some verification service they would just block any UK IPs.

It's imgur. It's one of the most high profile cases of an image posting site refusing to demand age verification from its users and therefore becoming unilaterally banned in the UK.

It's very annoying because it was my go-to image posting site for many years but now the Brits can't see it. I hope the politicians get their stuff together because I don't think an image hosting site (which also pretends it has a meaningful community) should need to collect the personal identity details of its users. But that line of discussion is for the OT forum.

In the meantime, for my miniature posting I tend to just upload them to Dakka directly via the post attachment feature, and for misc images I rely increasingly on Gyazo, a screen snipping tool + uploader (but with limited capacity for image storage, so no proper replacement).

Which is weird since they purged their site of NSFW content like three years ago and don't allow it by TOS.

Imgur was already facing legal troubles in the UK before the social media change. They decided to time their UK cut-off so it looked like a response to the new law, when in fact it was for other reasons, now obfuscated.

Back to topic, how many rumour engine images are left unsolved, now?

I know that we just got the adepticon teasers, but was there a rumor engine this week? Don’t they normally go up on Tuesdays?

Just wanted to check to make sure I’m not missing something/going mad…

Second Tuesday without a Rumour Engine, huh

In the vanguard vet reveal yesterday they said tune in next Monday for another new mini. I wonder if rumor Tuesdays have been replaced with reveal Mondays?

The second time there was no new rumour engine, without any comment on Warhammer Community about it having a rest, was one of the most disappointing moments of my life.

Yeah I'm assuming it's this right? Mind if it is that's a long run up to 11th edition release where nowt is rumoured.

They have generally been running Monday reveals alongside Tuesday rumour engines for months now without issue. Maybe their cropping guy is on holiday.
