Hello all!

I've been perusing the 2nd edition 40k rules, and noticed that there doesn't appear to be any specification on what exactly twin-linked weapons do. I wanted to ask if anyone knew how 2nd edition's twin-linked rules work. I had seen a few people elsewhere saying that it was 1 hit roll for 2 hits, but I want to see if there are any official rulings before assuming that ruling is the case.

It's in the Vehicle section, because vehicles were the only ones carrying linked weapons. Page 80 in the 2nd ed rulebook.
