Phoenix from the Flames - your model should represent rebirth, renewal or fire. Coming back from death, defeat, or setbacks. A fresh start with new vigor. Rising once more to fight. Or more generally birds or flame themes. Returning to the hobby with a new project? Crawling out of the dumpster fire to a better year?

Irregular - All’s fair in war. Not everyone is going to engage in a standup fight on a field of battle. Irregulars could be militia, guerrillas, mercenaries, or partisans. They could be warriors who specialize in hit and run warfare. Alternatively, you could interpret “irregular” to refer to a camo pattern that breaks up the shape of the subject.

Seeing Red - This can either be done as a technical challenge, where you focus on the color red and have it feature prominently on your model. Or you can go with a metaphysical approach and convey the themes often associated with the color. Either way, break out the rose-tinted glasses and get painting!

Fluffy! - Spring is in the air. Time for the fuzzy little critters to come out of hiding. Easter bunnies hopping around, bears waking from hibernation, warg packs raiding down from the mountains. Your entries should have some fur, wild hair, or soft a/o silly aspects. Animals, either normal, anthropormic, or pelts all would fit

Poll will run for 2 days.

I went with Fluffy! because it's the objectively correct choice, but I have no stake in the outcome. The model I have in mind fits all themes equally. Take that, democracy!

Nehekhara lives! Sort of!

I've got an unpainted unit in the wings that'll suit Irregular. Also Phoenix and, on a technicality, Fluffy, so three out of four options I'm already sorted.

I hadn’t actually given much thought to what I’d do with them when picking topics.

Phoenix is easy. Necrons will be back, and I’ve got the WS PL waiting.

I’ve got scouts for irregulars. also more striking scorpions

Seeing red I could sneak a lot of stuff in. Red is the primary color for both my Soulblight and Eldar. I should have a rage-y mini or two as well

Fuzzy is actually a little tight. I’ve got a few pelts draped over a few minis.

The question is what works best to overlap with my yearly goals. Probably the Necrons.

I voted for Fluffy, but I think I can find something for any of these options.

Now clearing some unfinished projects!

Well, I've gone with Fluffy as I have some rT ogors I'm converting for BB, but I'm sure i can come up with something for any.

Look like it’s close between irregulars and fuzzy.

Time to combine them and paint some gorilla insurgents?
